Lambdas (AFR) values (check after PPE Long tubes Install)
Hi,
After having installed my PPE headers last week (it runs like hell) i went on a check of my AFR sensors (lambdas) to see if everything was ok.
Something to know : i had a tune in 2012 with stock headers, kinetix HFC ,Stillen dual High flow intake and a Toyosport catback.
So i pluged my laptop on my ODB and started the recording.
First thing strange : Bank 1 sensor is at 0.45V at idle, Bank 2 is at 0.84V I directly switched them and the values are the same
I tested them with my multimeter and they are at 2.5 Ohms, so it's normal.
I went for a run, and at full gas bank 1 is a 1.07V and bank 2 at 1.27V. How is it possible since the sensors normally do 0 to 1V ???
Here is the recording
The flat spots are when i'm full throttle. It's a five minutes recording.
When i made my tune, the tuner had several problem with check engine, do you think he made an offset on the lambda value on the bank 2 to trick the ECU ???
I think i will need a real tune this time... I paid 1000$ at this time but it seems they F**KED me ??? It does not seem to be dangerous since i tracked my car a lot since 2012 with no problem though...
What do you think of theses facts ?
Thanks
