It's $3k but that's a lot better than $6k

$3K for the system yes, but my car being a VQ35HR it needs a custom made harness hance the extra $3k in custom harness and tuning.... 😔

You may as well go all out, right?? lol that's an absurd amount though... Definitely an impressive setup imho, but what that's worth to you is the deciding factor. Personally, if my goal was to be a highway monster, I would look into it. For the strip, I don't know if its that necessary.

I'm going to stay my previous set up and just keep it at 938whp and 751tq... I think that'll be enough to do some kills; maybe not all but most...

Ok well to start I will give you guys a run down of my mods list. Started off with my spare VQ35HR motor and heads, JMS sent it off to Darton to have it Sleeved, then found a great deal on some 9.5:1 CP Pistons, and BC connecting rods. The. I got onto GTM website and ordered their Fuel rails with fuel return system, I thought I wasn't going to receive anything because of all the stories about GTM but luckily I did receive the order. As for my fuel system I am using a Radium surge tank with triple 255lph fuel pumps and and extra 255lph fuel pump in the OEM tank to feed my surge tank with 1300cc ID injectors. Then I went to JWT and ordered the C1HR camshafts with heavy duty valve springs and their cam bolt mod. Then got BC 1mm+ valves and BC valve guides and got those heads ported and polished. We used ARP L19 bolts and studs to ensure everything would hold. My goal is to make a max horse power of 800whp, but by the way it's looking I think this build can go waaaaayyyyy higher.
So what kind of valve locks did you go with?

Valve Locks? You mean the ones that keep the spring and spring retainer in place?

I got 2nd place...I didn't realize that you were the other boosted Z. I asked you about your turbo kit and why you went with something built by JMS.

MM'08 I need you to do me a favor...

Can you remove the beautiful manifold cover and just place the OEM strut bar on top to show how it won't fit?

The Stillen or OEM nismo core brace would help bring back rigidity if you were looking

thanks

Thanks

I took the manifold off the Z already 🙁 But I did test fit it and it does fit, it looks kind of awkward but that's mainly my concern the car rigidity.

awesome...I have an ARC strut bar and it's angled so that it would fit better if there was any issues.

Is yours for sale ? with the black cover ?

thanks again

I've never seen an intake manifold blow up or even posted, but I don't want to be the first. I know the car can easily pull between 900-1000 WHP, I just do t want to push it with the OEM
manifold. 😥
Just sell me your turbos and call it a freaking day lol manny ur setup is crazy and your scared of it so sell me the turbos

Give him some time in the seat to get used to it, make chassis changes as necessary and the extra power will come

Didn't notice the past post video on the dyno, the turbo spool doesn't look any different than the .86 AR I have on GT28RS's. Going to go with the newer CJM custom turbo manifolds with 3076R's and will post results once I get the car switched over on my GTM kit to new manifolds, wastegates, downpipes, and 3076's. Although not going as crazy high as you haha, you got the sleeved block and bigger fuel sys, going to slowly upgrade my fuel system over time but see what I can get on 1000cc w/ twin pump. Going to stick to 91 primarily, but will also get a tune for E85 .

Do you know what .AR you have on the turbine side of your 76's? Looks like they come in .61/.83/1.01 in Vband. I'm thinking of going with the .83 to keep some top end, but lose some down low.
