I just wanted to share my setup with what i have going on. I just recently put in some Tomei cams. 272's with a 10.8 lift, also tomei valve springs, tomei retainers with a nismo oil pump. Nick at 5523 motorsports did the install and did a great job I have to say. This is first start up at the shop. hope you guys injoy. i have more videos. Getting tuned Jan 12. hopefully have some numbers for you guys.

here is another video pre tuned just getting the data logs in and getting help with setting the a/f just right for taking it to the dyno. cams pull hard as hell compared to stock.... not to mention it no longer wants to fall on its face after 65-6800 rpm. it pulls all the way past redline.

I have been dreaming about an LS1 with cam swap almost 100whp with breathing mods. Just need the LS1, LOL It's on my to do list.

i did a write up in the nismo section... its #0323 on top of the posts. dyno tune is this tuesday for me to post up numbers to see how they do. this is just a project to see how they do on stock compression. i have no clue what the outcome of this will be. i have a full tank of 100 octane in the car ready for next weeks tune. i have always wondered how this setup will do. but i can tell you for 91 octane rough tune with a little bit rich across the power band to be safe so i can drive it to the dyno, it pulls way harder than stock haha. all the way to redline. i can now safely rev it to 8500 rpm only if need be. it all depends on where the power peaks and i have the nismo oil pump so it doesnt fail banging between gears at higher rpms....

the cams are more of a mid and top end cam. once the cams start phasing together around 3k rpm you can feel it transition instantly over and starts to pull.

here is another one from Nick on my car. a lot of people do not take into count for the different cam bolts you need. on some of the HR motors depending on year and production, had shorter bolts and you need to install the longer ones.

Would you mind sharing your intake and exhaust cam maps? I'd like to know what the max advance is for 272's. Awesome results bro
