Getting 300hp out of my stock HR

Every HR I have seen with berk HFCs and a dual exhaust always pulls 295-300. (80-90deg in FL)
I've never seen a intake/exhaust bolt on car with test pipes hit 300.(Just a CAI not porting or 3")
I wish I had money to test it my self, but something tells me these engines hate test pipes, and really hate 2.25"->2.5" step ups in the cat area (90% of all test pipes). There is far to much consensus about mods. Everything needs to be set up to work with each other.
LTH are a great example of this. Are they better than stock cats? You bet. But I never see them make more power then Berk HFCs. EVERY high power NA Z I have seen (Sashas 400+HP car included) Have a mid length header. The ones that Motordyne had up at Zdays were like this as well. Motordynes ART pipes are also properly sized for stock headers, just like the Berks.
Flow doesn't matter if you hemorage velocity. Bigger isn't always better.

I noticed MCR makes a mid length header, i wonder how that would work?
I am very impressed with my PPE's with uprated collector. 105+ degrees or so inside the dyno shop and it made great power.
