But a 100k miles BMW is still worth more than a mazda with 20k on the clock hahahaha.... But all jokes aside I do see what you are saying, and I can honestly say you have no clue what you are talking about me and my family have owned a few BMWs no problems and still running past 100k on the clock.
Hell on e46fanatics there is a z3 with 360k on the odomiter miles!!!!!!!!!!
Again I love the Z.

Dude,
We had 1995 3 series, 2002 3 series (I guess you are the only one driven BMW and nobody has a clue). Enough for a lifetime.
See if you can make it to 200k.
For a bmw to run 200k you proably need more work done than a hollywood actress. Japanese cars, you just load it with oil/gas

lol
1986 325is 180k (my dad)
1992 325i 110k (my mom)
1999 740i 90k (my dad)
2001 328i 160k (my first car and I drove all those miles on it)
2002 M3 110k (my brothers car, still running no problems.)
All of these car's ran just fine only thing need was oil/gas and at 80k to just be safe we got full service which includes a new water pump 800 bucks total. So that is just my house hold. I did own a 05 Z4 but that was for a total of 15k on the odometer. You my friend just seem to have bad luck, and if BMW was just junk why are they so popular and in high deman?

Dude,
You are missing the point. Anything under 200k is not worth mentioning. 4 of those cars mileage are considered virgins with japanese cars.
Enough.

I must admit. This thread has keep me VERY entertained. Don't ban in the dark... he is kind of funny...
And trackng, you crack me up also..
Godsendsdeath: BMWs are so in demand because, while they are very engaging, many of their buyers are posers and lemmings that do what everyone else does. BMW's sales are mostly from posers showing off their status...

Poser? wtf does that mean.... hmm I am successful in life and I made money, so now I can buy a BMW and I am a poser then?
I think buying a Z and thinking it is worth a million bucks is being a poser.
BTW I love my Z lol....

Be fair dude... Their popular cause they are good safe drives and lets face reality... their pretty much affordable by anyone. You dont have to be rich, as there is a bimmer for most budgets.
Lemmings? That would be SUV's, honda's and toyota's.

HAHAHAHA....believe all that you read people. it's like those damn entertainment magazines telling you brit spears is having another baby when she' s not. In todays world with gas prices sky rocketing around the globe i highly doubt the japs will throw a big gas guzzling v8 into the Z. If you get off nissan a while and look into the american car companies, there going out of damn business all over. Read whats going on with GM. NO MORE V8's. # 1 there not selling due to gas prices and it's just not economical anymore. Even SUV's arent selling anymore. HUMMER's going down the tubes as well. If the Japs want the Z's to sell like they should putting in a v8 will probably only get most enthusiasts with $ to buy it and drive it. Otherwise the AVG Joe is sticking to 4 n 6 banger's to keep some $ in his or her pocket. What nissan should do like BMW is now incorporating into their 6's is turbo off the line. And even thats going to guzzle the gas, but hey it's better than filling up a v8 at the pumps!
Otherwise if you want the Z to be somewhat of a SUPERCAR throw the damn gtr engine into it already instead of a slightly worked 3.5 or 3.7 engine thats going to be shared with the MAXIMA/ALTIMA/PATHFINDER. The Z needs to be on it's own path with the GTR's engine. Then and only then will the Z be the greatest RWD! haha less they make it AWD...
