For those who can't drive it's going to be a mid 13 second car but for those who can this thing is going to be a rocket.
I agree.. Cant wait to see how it performs in someones hands who actually knows how to drive..

Bottom line is at the track, whether its the drag strip or the circuit track, the 370Z should easily outperform an 07-08 Z.

As far as the 7AT, its NOT going to be faster. But it should be as quick as the 6MT. People need to actually look at their gearing (seems like no one is doing that). The first 2 gears, the 7AT has a clear advantage. The 6MT in the other hand, has an advantage on its 3rd (negligible), 4th, 5th, & 6th gear. And not to mention, thought AT's have been improving on this, they still have a little more drivetrain loss.

IMO, 370Z > 350Z by a long shot. In looks, interior, and performance.

this is pretty much the only good post I've seen so far. I love my 350z. But I'm not going to sit here and look for reasons why the 370z isn't better. If a 08 Z and a 09 370z came out the same day nobody would pick the 350z. The car is better. Yeah I don't really like the headlights or the rearlights but it will grow on me. The car is faster, shorter, lighter, the interior is waaaaay better.
You guys don't have to be so insecure about your cars.

Me personally I wouldn't get the car because I'm more of a convertible guy. My Z still turns heads everyday I drive it and the new one doesn't look too much different for me to trade my car in. But you guys are fooling yourself if you think that your Z is the BETTER CAR.

The 370z does not entice me to trade-in my 07HR for one like I thought it would. Test pipes, cat-back, and tune and I could wipe the floor for the 370z.
I wouldn't be so sure of that. I've done and seen a few side-by-sides with the new 370Z, and I was overly impressed.

+1!!!!

105 mph is a good trap for a high 12 with a 1.8-1.9 60'

Hell, ive gone 13.50's in my stock 06

But like others said, its not only a 1/4 mile car, its more about the handling. But im happy it can do both
