Default Injected Performance 370Z dyno video, 258whp DD

We had a chance to strap our Nissan 370Z down briefly for some baseline numbers. On our dyno dynamics 'heart breaker' it produced 258whp completely stock. Stay tuned for future developments.

Full dyno writeup and HD video

Would 07/08s ever dyno that high? Torque numbers seem about right.

From Sharif's dyno just for comparison although a different DD

I'm sure they have some baselines for the HR.

Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno's read much lower than your typical Dynojet. Usually around 8 to 10%.

2003 Nonrevup 350Z: 215whp
2006 Revup 350z: 234whp
2009 VQ35HR 370Z: 258whp
Off their website. They made a mistake and wrote VQ35HR.

https://my350z.com/forum/shop-builds...-5at-fcon.html Forged got 246 for an auto HR. I don't know how the gearing of the auto would affect it (if affects it anyhow, 3.3 opposed to 3.5 fd), but i think the 6MT dynos the same. BTW this was with a CAI.

the 370z doesnt feel faster than a HR but the power delivery is much smoother with the longer gears.

You no read so good.

It's called the "Heartbreaker" because it reads low, probably due to the algorithm the dyno uses to calculate the power. It reads all cars low. 245.3 whp for a VQ35HR and 258.5 for a VQ37VHR. Your car (2003) would have only made 215 whp on the same dyno.

Here, let me enter the !d-io-t correction factor (most dyno facilities should use this but only a few do, like the ones that publish in magazines) and it comes out to 291 whp. Is that better?

Like posted already, that dyno reads low.

IIRC and FWIW, the guys at Z1 ran 279 whp SAE corrected on their Dynojet.

You guys do realize that it made 286whp on GTM's Dynojet and that DynoDynamics typically read a bit lower than Dynojets

And was also on a base model, which has slightly less drivetrain loss.
