I don't agree, neither of those z's look good, stick to 17",18" or 19".

So don't flame me I've been reading up on it and searching through the forums and haven't quite got my answer. To start I drive my Z like a grandma, and all mods I plan on doing are completely aesthetic.

I want 20's
Actually it's really the wheel I want is only available in 18 or 20 and 18 is too small for me, I dont want to slam my car that low.

The dilemma I have is, should i get the staggered set at 20x9 +15 and 20x11 +15 or should I just get 4-20x9 +15 and get a small spacer for the rear?

I plan on lowering the car with tokico shocks and eibach springs (I believe only a 1.4 inch drop but I'd have to look) this isnt going to be an issue?

any advice would be very helpful!!!

I wouldn't mind rolling fenders but don't want to mess with a ton of negative camber, just got out of the herraflush game and the coilovers and camber wrecked my ride

If your going to drop it 1.4" I'd suggest getting the 18's, 20's will be pretty flush at stock height, if you lower it you'll have to roll the fenders for sure, at 18's with a 1.4" drop you might still have to roll if not its gonna be really close

Great! I just love the look of the 20's. I'll probably just go with that and see how it looks as far as lowering. thanks!

Any other advice/comments/concerns/criticism is appreciated

Oh and you never really answered my main question, should i get the 20x9 +15 all around with small spacers for rear? or get the 20x9 and 20x11 staggered set both at +15 or will the rears be too big?

Default i would go with 18's

Coming from someone that had 20's on for several years, now that I have 18's my only regret is not doing it sooner. The car feels lighter now and handles better. Acceleration improved, which was expected from the much lighter wheels, and the fatter tire improves ride comfort as well. Now, if u aren't concerned with performance and are just going for looks you'll be just fine with the dubs, but like others have mentioned, they're not really meant for our cars. 19's is probably as big as I would go on a 350z.
My old 20's have found a much better home on my girls heavier G35.

With 20's

With 18's

Eibach doesn't make a 1.4 drop. Their pro-kit lowers 1" all around and the sportlines lower 1.2" all around. If you're going with 20's I would stay away from both if u don't wanna deal with a bunch of negative camber as u mentioned. I'm currently lowered on hotchkis springs (.6" front .8" rear) and they worked great with the 20's. I would recommend those or tein s-techs.
Now that I'm on 18's the gap is more evident so I'll be going a little lower with the eibach pro-kits....

Default 245 40 20 or Thicker.....

So I bought some tires for my car... But the guy gave me 245 40 20 and the other tire was bad so he gave me 235 40 20 for the REAR THO He said he will change the tire once he gets more on Friday... But does this affect anything meanwhile? Like MPG or anything ? Also I still have some rim out... Can I go thicker? I probably can I lol

Lmao I should punch my tire guy lol so think it'll look sick with Rey's? I kinda still like your 20s but it looks more aggressive with 18s... How much more acceleration did you feel tho?

It's not drastic but definitely enough to feel, mainly from a dead stop. "Looking sick" is in the eye of the beholder, if u dig em, rock em. More than the diameter of the wheel, what's gonna make it look aggressive is the width and offset. If u get the right offsets u wont need to use spacers. U want an offset somewhere in the vicinity of +22 to +15. 245 is too thin for a rear tire, assuming that u have the right width (at least 10"). With a 20" wheel u ideally wanna run a 285/30 in the rear.

Question TSW Help

Hey Guys,

I was searching through Craigslist today just looking through 350z parts and came across some TSW Carthage wheels for a great price. They're brand new in box and never been mounted or even fitted.

Specs

20x8.5 all around (I would prefer staggered but I dont mind.)

5 x 114.3

+40mm Offset all around

The problem is fitting these. Im not sure if these will work because I have never bought wheels before.... I need to know if these will:
1) fit?
2) be flush or stick out?
3) what tire sizes will i need to achieve the stretched tire look?

Please reply asap, looking to do this deal in the morning... If they fit! Thanks!

Also, please don't hate. I know wheels are very opinionated but I personally like these. Thanks!

Don't do it, 2 reasons.
1. 20 looks out of proportion on a Z. We usually run 17-19.
2. +40 offset will be hellasunk. I bought my car w +40 Konigs and was teased to no end. I went w Enkei rpf1 s. Very affordable.
