Use the tire rim calculator: https://my350z.com/forum/tire_rim_calculator.php (found under "Tools" on the toolbar at top of this page).
Examples (on my own car):
Stock Track V.1s - 18x8 & 8.5 +30 all
Sunken in but they work well.
Set-up 2: 19x8.5 & 9.5 +27F, +24R only ever-so-slightly more "aggressive". (But I wouldn't ever call this fitment aggressive.... just slightly more than stock)
Set-up 3: OEM GT/Track V.2 - 18x9, 19x10 +30 all
Reason I show all three is this way you can see what offet does for your car. Widest wheels are the still conservative Track 2s. But they sit about the same as the Volks in set-up 2 due to extra width. You can use a little more positive offset in this manner to get more rubber and rim width underneath.
As you go lower offset, e.g., +15 or below as an example, you'll get more outboard rubber, hence, wider track. However, you also alter your scrub radius which, if not done correctly, will give a little more ultimate grip at the expense of taking away some steering agility but it's an OK sacrifice on the track.
The 8.5/9.5 combination is pretty common, not all that aggressive but if you like the "underneath" look, it works fine. Also a popular/common set up that works well, 9.5/10.5 +15 all around. Looks really nice and drives just fine with some aggressive footprint. (But may require a little lip roll on the rear.)
I cannot comment on "concavity" as this does nothing for handling, it's more about styling. The key factors I look at are weight, proper offset, max width. If it doesn't improve performance, it doesn't go on my car. Just me....
Hope this help to visualize....
Mic
PS Oh, and important to note for comparison here: Car IS lowered (conservative 19mm) and NO-ROLL/no clearance issues on current 245-40-18, 265-35-19 setup... stock GT/Nismo. (More pics if you need side views here.)

Here's my 08. 19X9.5+27 245/40ZR19 front 19X10.5+24 275/35ZR19 rear. Bought wheels year and a half ago with tires for $2300. Only pic I had available. I will post more when I take more pics.

So finally about to pull the trigger in the AG's.
I found the offset and other specs:
19x9.5 +20 (wheel: 275/35/19)
19x11 +18 (wheel: 245/35/19)
Lowering in swift spec r springs
Lowered by:
1.2" front
1" rear
Will this be hella flush (which is what I don't want) just nicely flush/slightly aggressive, slight wheel stretch?
Thx in advance!

I sold a similarly sized set of wheels due to what I surmised would be clearance issues at full lock. I don't need scuffing while up in the hills. It'll probably all fit but would imagine a rear roll is going to be necessary.
And BTW, think you got the tires backwards... unless you did the 350Z FWD conversion.
Those tires will fit no problem though. I run those on 9/10s and 8.5/9.5s just fine.

So the rims I'm looking at are 19x8.5 +32 and 19x9.5 +38
I realize people usually go with a smaller offset, but I'm not looking for anything very aggressive (in fact I rather like the stock stance) and I'm not planning on lowering. I'm definitely NOT trying to get the wheels flush with the fenders.
As for tires, Tirerack recommends 225/40 and 245/40 but that seems quite narrow. I've used the wheel calculator and it looks like that setup maintains the right overall diameter and everything though.
What tire sizes do you guys recommend for this setup? I realize without spacers or a smaller offset I might be limited on tire width. I'm not going for a "fat" or "stretched" look. Just a nice vertical sidewall, if that makes any sense.
Also, I have a base model so I have a bit more flexibility when it comes to mixing and matching sizes.
Thanks for the input!
