Default 255/40 & 275/40

Hi everybody,

I'm a new Z owner and have just ordered some wheels for my 350z track

The wheels are 18x9.5+12 all around

After reading about the Vdc issues with tire choice I was wondering if the below Choice would work?

Front - 255/40/18
Rear - 265/40/18 or 275/40/18

I have read so far that it's the height of the rear that should be higher right?

How are my above options?

Thanks

I think i've seen that some people have 255/40 & 275/40 rear.

But if you're running square rim setup why not just run 275/35 275/40 rear?

Assuming you don't have a base model hence all the VDC stuff?

Anyways, i'm pretty sure that should work BUT you will most likely need to roll fenders for those setups.
Back for sure, front maybe i'm not sure.

If you don't mind me asking, what wheels did you get.

EDIT: ah no sh*t it says you have a track model.
Lol sorry.

Can anyone confirm that

255/40/18 front and 275/40/18

Without causing Vdc issues

18x9.5 rims all round

You read my mind haha

I see on the tyre calculator there is a higher overal diameter on the 275/40 of 2.42% which is what this Vdc wants

Default Will this wheel setup clear Brembos?

I'm looking at purchasing a set of TSW Nurburgring wheels in the following sizes:

Front: 18" x 9.5" with a 40mm offset
Rear: 18" x 10.5" with a 27mm offset

I'd like to know if this setup will clear a Brembo brake setup before I make the final purchase. I do not currently have Brembos installed, but would like to upgrade in the near future, so I don't want to get wheels that won't work with them.

Any/all help for this newb would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

First off nice wheel choice. Those are my favorite cheap forged wheels for the Z. Rear offselt is fine. Front it awful. You will need a spacer. As for clearing brembo those fronts will not(15mm spacer will probably be needed to clear and get flush like the rear. rear should clear

Hey guys, gonna be putting new wheel on my Z soon. Looking at either enkei raijins or rpf1s. It would be nice to stay at 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear so that I don't have to buy new tires when I have plenty if tread on my current tires. Do you think it will look fine with that width as opposed to going up to 18x9.5 all the way around?
