All depends on the amount of camber you set. If i was to build for a looks and not performance i would just set my ride height , then set the camber to what i needed for the proper "look", and clearance.

I'm looking for a pretty aggressive stance, I'll be lowering on some coils soon as well.

My question to you guys is what tire sizes should I run? I have already rolled my fenders all the way around. But is pulling necessary? I'm not looking to do some crazy fender work just to get these to fit.

From searching around this is what I got:
18x10.5 +15 with a 245/40 in the front.
18x10.5 +0 with a 245/40 in the rear.

Does this sound okay? If you think i should add a spacer up front please give a tire spec! As well if you have other recommendations

Thanks

I run 285/30 on my 10.5 +15 RPF1s. They rub a tad in the rear on big dips in the track (T6 at Laguna Seca). It's a good set-up otherwise. I have a lot of camber though (3.5 front, 2.5 rear). I know at least two guys that rub with 275s on 18x9.5 +15s, so you need to be prepared to do more fender work or camber if you plan on running a spacer. I see no room for a spacer on my set-up; at first look my front wheels actually stick out a bit. Those tiny tire sizes may work though. I see no reason to run that wide wheel with a narrow tire though, since a wider RPF1 doesn't give you any change in lip or wheel concavity. . . so. . .

18x10.5 +15
18x10.5 +15/spacer -0
245/40 front/rear
roll fenders
few degrees camber and your set

a few members on this site with similar set ups below
if members are running 13 wide on stock body, you shouldnt have a problem with 10.5
EDIT:silverstone is actually 18x10.5 +15/ 18x10.5 +15/spacer 20mm and tires 265/35 all around but you get the idea

Sounds like a plan to me. Put the wheels-tires on the car. If you need spacers then do the spacers.

Will I still have full range of turning with 245/40? or should I go with a 35 series tire?

Still learning, trying my best. Thanks everybody!

think this guy fenders are just rolled stick with 245/40 if you drop to a 35 you gonna have to lower even more to get rid of that little gap and you can possibly get away with stock arms look up my enkei theard or the 18inch wheel thread they have alot of similar set ups just have to search thru a few pages
happy motoring

Ordered my 245/40/18 tires today for a great deal from discount tires! I'm going to order a 20 mm spacer instead of a 15 to bring the offset to -5 in the rear. I want it more aggressive. I won't rub will I?

You'll need to do fender work if you're 18x10.5 -5

Are you sure? The black Z with the blue rpf1's is running -5 and his tire sizes are also 245/40

Dude, just mount the wheels/tires and measure. It's more fun that way.

If you want the silliest, illest , hellalame , hellgay, or hellaflush look you need to roll the rear fenders. It will not happen with out a roll.

They're already rolled. It's pulling I'm concerned about. Can I go -5 in the rear with ROLLED fenders? WITHOUT pulling.

by the looks of that black/blue rpf1 z it doesn't seem like his fenders are pulled.

if they are...they are very SLIGHTLY pulled. i think you'll be fine with a roll and some neg camber since you're running a 245/40

I wouldn't run 245s on a 10.5 wheel. 285s all around or 275 front if you don't want to risk rubbing.

Yeah that's what I thought. I wish he had more pictures but those were all the pictures I could find ANYWHERE. I remember him selling his Z in my area, but I never got the chance to ask him. 245/40 is pretty skinny I don't think it will rub. But maybe I should measure first. Idk I want to order my spacers now, so I don't have to pay for alignment twice.
