What do you guys think of the Square Wheels G6?

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...x9-5-12-a.html

Thinking about the 18x9.5 +12 square setup. So far I haven't seen any reviews or "issues" regarding these, even on the silvia forums. Or if someone can link a review on these, that would be awesome.

I think they look cheap, rears will look sunk in those specs. Get some wide fat tires to fill up the wheel well.

I don't like the lips... and I would have them painted/powder coated to have black lips and graphite centers if the lips didnt suck

Well, they are cheap. $600/set.

I'm planning on getting more rubber in the rear too.

Planning on dipping/painting the centers gold and leaving the lips silver.

Or maybe black lips, hard to say until I see them in person.

Square setup, any wider lower offsets? If not get at least 275 or wider tires. Not a fan of 521s. IMO anything with a lip better be deep. Anything that looks 3 piece needs to be real 3 piece not just decorative rivets.

At ~600 I think there are better looking wheels in better specs.

Well, they are cheap. $500/set. IMO smaller lip w mesh style wheels 40 series f/r? How "flush" will this look with 275?

Thx for the speedy reply

It really won't look that flush. I have 10.5 +15 on 285 rear and it looks kind of flush to me. Yours will be 16mm more sunk in, why I asked if there were wider and lower offset 521s.

So just over half inch ayeee that's actually not terrible IMO being flush isn't top priority anythings better than stock 17s. Your Z is clean af btw.. Hope the 521's in black and machined lip looks decent on mine

That's before the drop.. Hey could I run wider 285/40r? Or is that taller than stock..

I prefer 285/35 drag radials, so they are beefy. Drawback is cost and having to replace them often.

You could go high as 295/35 but that's overkill for street and I don't want to spend more than $800/set on rubber. I'm looking at Hankooks V12 evo2 275/40 square

I got free shipping on them.

That saves me an extra $200 towards tires.

I like them, reminds me of Enkei RS05RRs. Think I'll get a set of XXRs for my wife's car.

My thoughts too ^

I think they're replicas of them too.
