Things wrong with this picture:
1) BBS centercaps on the replica Varrstoen 5.5.2. If they want to run Varrstoen, that's fine. Don't front with fake center caps too..
2) wheel shattering that bad from such a low speed impact
If anyone caught Formula D NJ last week, big big big accident caused an Enkei to shatter, but that car was going near triple digits into the wall to cause that force of impact to cause the similar amount of damage, but if you look closely to the broken Enkei, the aluminum BENT first, then sheared. It wasnt a straight crack at the seam/edge of the wheel like the first image.
I just dont get why people try to save a few bucks for looks when wheels and tires are the ONLY THING TOUCHING THE GROUND on a car. I can almost bet that a the real Forged BBS wheel in the same condition probably would have bent, but not fail that severe. That would have been horrible if this was in a turn.

I was driving and minding my business when I hit a small pot hole, and it turned out to be a bigger pot hole after my car drove over it. It went from a 4 inch wide pothole to a 2 foot wide one.. The ground underneath the pothole gave away and f*ck me over.
Anyone have a 19x9.5 +22 for sale? varstoen 1.1.2 or a pair? .... 25 miles going up a hill in 4th gear.

Are those actual LMs? Or reps?
Their are Reps, and I was thinking about reporting it. but if i can find one for cheap i rather just pay then go through the hasse. sounds stupid i know.

Because they wish they had the real thing, whether deep down, or right on the surface. They aren't likely to buy a mod because they want it, instead it is the definition of being a poseur - doing it so other people will think a certain thought about you. It's also the reason why the real wheel companies charge so much for their center caps in the first place.

Besides wheel certification such as JWL and VIA how do you know what you are getting?
Is there a correlation between price and failure? In other words is a $300 wheel more apt to fail than a $600 or is this an assumption?
BTW I have always believed that the street is more dangerous than the track. Driving on a track is a controlled environment. The street is not.

I get sh*t for my 5zigen FNs sometimes....they maybe cheaper wheels, but at least their not fake. Strong too for such a light wheel.
and they're bolted to ARP wheel studs. don't want my wheel flying off cuz the studs or the wheels break.
