Default Do I need a fender roll for these new tires?

So it turns out that one of my rear tires 285 35 19 bridgestone potenza s-04 has two nails in it one on the flat surfance in the middle and one next to the sidewall.

I don't want to just replace 1 because the tread pattern would not be accurate on the rears. So I wanted to replace both tires on the rears.

I got a good deal on michelin ps2 but strangely they are 285 40 19, I also have kw v1 coilovers installed in the rears and slightly dropped it.

If I get the 40 series do I need a fender roll?

My rims are the nismo v3 rims 19x10 +30 offset.

In my experience both Bridgestone and Michelin don't run as wide as other tires so if you don't rub now, I don't think you will rub with the taller tire.

That's a really tall tire, I bet VDC/TCS will not like it

Yes, 40 series with 285 on a 19mm wheel is too tall. 35 series is much better here for VDC/TCS/ABS. And as a bonus, you won't need to be concerned with fender rolling.
