Default Please help me out! save my rims! rpf1s

Whats up everyone, new to the forums but I've had the z for a couple of months.

so my z just got totaled out from an accident on the freeway unfortunately and one of my rims were bent but i don't want to lose the set of rpf1s. i only have a set of z31 saw blades from 86 and was wondering if those fit? i haven't done too much research but i thought maybe someone could give me a straight answer quickly as the insurance company wants to take the z away. the z is an 06 with only 21k

any help would be great!

wont fit, the 86 is 5x100 and the z is 5x114.3

wait, when you say 86 do you mean an 1986 Nissan? or the scion 86. but i think the older nissans were 4 lug

Yea i meant 86 nissan 300zx. Some years came four lug and other came 5. I have a few friends with them. And the patter is 5 x 114. Im just wondering if the offset will work

The biggest issue is caliper clearance. I doubt your Z has the Brembo package, but even the standard '06 brakes were bigger than what the Z31 came with. In any case, nobody in the Z33 community would try to fit wheels from a Z31 to their car, so you'll just have to try it and see. Be sure to report back on this thread, so we'll all have some idea if they fit!

Understood- but if they've gotta tow it out, it would be good to have a wheel/tire package that didn't DRAG or lock up solid as they tow it away. The adjuster might just get wind of that.

If they don't fit then check Craigslist for a cheap set of OEM or any other wheel that'll fit. there's a set of OEM 18s on CL locally here for $100 for example.
