Default Drift Spare Recommendations

I'm trying to find some cheap spares that are as close as possible to my current set up in the rear, which is 19x11.5 +6. The closest thing I can find are these ugly ****ers.

http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-531-Wh...p/53191430.htm

Is there really nothing else out there close to these specs? I can't seem to find anything in decent sizes in 19's.

Honestly I would probably buy 18x10.5 XXR's for drift.

Why not stock 17 or 18? Tires are a bit cheaper for burning. If you ruin the rim some how, cost is at a low. Used tires are plentiful at 17-18. When your experience level increases, you can use better rubber and upgrade parts to satisfy your goal.

19x11.5 is more of a stance size. I was running 18x12 for cruisy stance hard parkings and running the stock 18's or 18x10.5 for doriftu. Keep some used tires on them from $25 Tire Guyz and hit the streets. Easy Peasy.

I would rather just get 19's to be symmetrical but I guess I could get 18's with high sidewall tires to make up the 1/2" of ground clearance I will lose. Do you guys know off the top of your head what the equivalent will be? I can always use willtheyfit.com, but practical experience > theory.

Considering you never posted a tire size, anything posted will be a shot in the dark.

245/40-18 is a popular rear for drift.

Also depends on what rim size you chose. I would set a budget on how much you are willing to spend on rims and tires.

I will sound like a broken record, but seat time is important. You will learn how to break the rear loose and understand your car's body movements.

I know. I'm just not trying to ruin nice wheels.

Grab a 10.5 XXR with 245/40-18 and you will be good. You could use many other cheaper wheels but you won't get the Stanced look you so desperately need for learning how to drift.
