Default Do ALL g35 wheels fit over brembos on a 350z?

I have a track edition z with brembos. I have been trying to find a spare set of wheels (so I can take my volks off and leave them at the shop for a week for powder coating) and to find a set for the winter. I have been told that the only z wheels that fit over brembos are the track wheels and that ALL g35 wheels fit over them. But when talking to someone today about it they said they thought only the touring g35 wheels fit over brembos? Can somebody please clarify, wheels and tires make absolutely no since to me at all...which is probably why I have still not bought a set despite the fact that I have been looking for 3 months.

I believe all 350Z wheels fit over the Brembos, so I am unsure why people are saying only the track wheels. If anything, the track wheels are one of the only 350Z wheels that won't clear my Akebono BBK. Your best bet is to get older DE touring wheels or something. That is what I have for my winter wheels, came from an 04 touring so they are 18's and clear my BBK.

Generally speaking, spoke design and offset will determine if it will fit. I have 9.5 wide on all my wheels and my te37 are +22 while my 57fxx are +25. The difference is only 3mm yet my 57fxx has a MUCH better clearance than my te37 does.

You dont necessary NEED g35 wheels to fitnover brembos, you just need the proper size and offset.

Have you tried other z/g wheels? Would it be as simple as pulling my wheel off and trying to put the other wheel on to see if it fits?

I have the V2 18's as my summer wheels and V1 18's as my winter. Both fit just fine. And the Akebono calipers are much bigger than the Brembo calipers.

If I had to take a wild guess, the only Z wheels that might not fit are the V1 17's. And they might still fit, I just don't know.

Yea the best way to check if you want to see for yourself is to throw on a wheel and see.

Also want to mention that I would get Z wheels over G wheels any day. G wheels offsets will look weird on the Z and will require spacers to look halfway decent. That is why I never got G37S wheels I was looking at years ago.

While I don't have either Brembo or Akebono brakes, I do have a set of 19" G35 wheels and a set of 18" Track wheels. Both fit the Z perfectly and I am certain that both would clear either of the brake calipers. Here are pictures of my Z with each set of wheels.

I believe that the issue is the clearance with the barrel, so spacers wouldn't help. Your best bet is to get V2 wheels or aftermarket.

It looks good with the G35 wheels, are you running spacers?

Good news. Just put 17in stock 350z wheels on over my brembos and they fit! So i think its safe to say all z wheels fit over the brakes.

We have known this for about 10 years now.

All G35 wheels fit over the brembos. The G35 only came with 3 different kinds of stock wheels. 03-05 had the brembos and those came in 18 inches. The 17inches are rare, but the backspacing still fits. IN 06, the G35 went to 19's. They also fit.
