Advice for SSR Formula Mesh 18 in....
Good morning everyone,
Was looking for some input regarding the SSR Formula Mesh wheels I am about to purchase. I am pretty set on a 18x9.5 F, 18x10.5 R wheel diameter and width for my 2008 Base MT coupe. There are no current modifications to the car which will affect wheel fitment. I think I am close to completely understanding the SSR wheel sizing chart, shown here:
http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/whe...=500&width=700
I was looking at the 18x9.5, 79 mm lip and +18 offset for the front,
18x10.5, 105 mm lip and +18 offset for the rear. Also looking at ~255 front tires and ~285 rear tires. These wheels will not be installed without Megan coils and SPC camber arm kits.
I am not looking to have this car dropped or cambered near the maximum limits of adjustment, looking for a very sporty but not overly aggressive look here, not over the top - but flush or damn close to it would be good.
Is this look and fitment reasonably attainable with the aforementioned wheel specs and suspension modification?
The alternative would be to go up to +30 offsets and have 67/92 mm lips instead.
Thanks for your time on this long winded post, and have a great day.
