Curbed my Volks!!
I curbed my rims pretty bad this morning. It's the front right side rim, and the outer lip has been pretty much scuffed halfway around.
Is there any wheel repair shop in central Indiana area including Indianapolis? I tried to look up the yellow page but couldn't come up with one.

Damm, bad luck bro...sorry to see that happen to anyones' wheel.
Wish I could offer some useful advice or info, but I'm at a loss on this one. Always liked what you've done with the car...best of luck with the repair.
ran across this site posted in a thread by maxipad96, might help:

Thanx for the advice. I appreciate that. It's just painful to simply looking at my rims.
I saw the link you posted above and thought about it doing it myself, but mine is polished lip and I'm afraid that I might **** it up and make it even worse. I heard that refinishing polished lips are tougher than regular wheels. Is this true?
Can I expect the outcome to be perfect (or near perfect) like the original condition?

No worries dude. I banged up my old set of Volk TE-37's awhile back and they had a polished lip. SABS here in Houston was able to refinish the wheel perfectly. I am not sure if there are any quality shops in your area, but I would be more than happy to put you in contact with the owner of SABS. The repair job will cost you anywhere from $100-$150. Shoot me a PM if you want to give SABS a shot. I am not affiliated with them in anyway. I am just a satisfied customer. Some of the Houston members can probably vouch for them. I am pretty sure Shaun, aka Moroccan_Mole, will vouch for them.

Wow!... I thought mine was bad.. isn't it the worst feeling... especially the drive till you are parked contemplating how bad the damage actually is. Good luck with the repair.. i know i'm hesitant about refinishing a polished lip too.

Tru Wheel does an excellent job. You can ship them out and they will ship them back to you after repaired. They specialize in JDM/2-piece wheels/etc and I have seen them repair volks as well.

Add me to the club. 2 of my 19" Volk GT-C have bends and 2 have curb damage. That leaves me with one undamaged rim. I've since removed the Volks for winter, and would like to get them repaired in the near future.
I was thinking of using Wheels America (http://www.fixrim.com/). Does anybody know if they repair JDM rims well? I called up the Volk distributor Mackin, and the person I spoke to recommended a place out in CA, whose name is escaping me at the moment.
It's a shame that we can't just buy the rim w/o the center hub, since the GT-C is a two-piece wheel. Mackin told me that they do not sell replacement parts. Does anyone know of any other potential source for the GT-C polished rim (w/o hub)? Thanks in advance for any info.
