New rims and tires sideways way 2 easy

I just threw on my work cr kai 18" 9.5 wide and +12 offset all around with nitto nt555 245/40/18 and when im driving the car it feels very very sloppy. Even if im going slow and normal driving the car feels like its swaying like crazy and about 2 step out completley sideways at any second. Anyone know why this is caused because it honestly worries the hell outta me.

p.s i have stock suspension and everything the car is bone stock.

Doesn't the Z come stock with a staggered setup? Maybe it is the equal width tires all around that is giving you that "swaying" feeling. And 245 seems a little narrow on at 9.5", the streching may be giving you some handling issues also. I run 245's on an 8" rim. Someone more knowledgeable can chime in.

Problem in bold.

Nitto NT555's are known to be the worst performance tires ever. Crappy in the rain and almost as crappy in the dry. Do a search.

245/40/18 isn't too stretched, but on the rear you need more grip. Try 275/40/18. I don't know about the NT555's, but the other guys chiming in are probably right about you needing another tire.

275/40/18 looks digusting to me.
I use falken fk452 with the exact same setup.
245/40/18 18x9.5 +20mm all around and Mine feels better than stock.
I can take turns easier and when normal driving, it feels comfortable.

maybe its the tires.

The Falken 452 in the 275/40/18 is a VERY meaty tire, but it doesn't look as bad as alot of other meaty tires I've seen. If you're going for width in the back you could to a 275/35/18. All comes down to searching to see what these choices look like and finding what you like.

To give you an idea: (before my drop)

These are Falken 275/35/18 all around.
I love the setup.

yea i dunno it doesnt really feel like im sliding around i would say more like it has excessive body roll if that makes any sense. I just really think its weird i dont really know if it's the tires per say, but i dont really know anything about it, it just feels very "touchy feeley" like when i turn the wheel like the whole car just dives in that direction and when i turn it back i feel like its about to loose itself really weird.

I think it has more to do with stretching 245's onto a 9.5" rim more than anything. Another guy was complaiing about the same thing and his tires were stretched as much or more than yours.

Yep, alignment is probably off. Most likely the toe is skewed.

Is there any problem doing 245/35/18 on all 4 wheels for 18x9.5?

My rear wheels are 275/40/18, but I think it is just too much meat on the wheel. I like the front wheels, they look good but I was wondering if all 4 tires are same then there is gonna be some problem?

275/40 F and 255/40 R seems to be a good combo. If you run that small of a tire on the rear you are going to have some issues. Mainly TCS/VDC problems. Your speedo will also be thrown off with the smaller diameter.

Nitto 555 is the worst so-called high performance tire I've ever owned. Get rid of them asap!
