That's the exact same set-up I'm going for V1 lip, NISMO sides and factory mudflaps for the rear.

Next Mod's should be....

Re-spray the front bumper again with the lip

Clear Bra the car's front end so you don't get chips

Wheels and Tires

Looks good...I also like the Brakes

nice set up....are those rock chips i see on your bumper in the passenger side front angle shot??? ouch....maybe i should seriously think about the clearbra.

aznmojo Nov 26, 2004 04:26 PM

I really dig the subtle look. Sideskirt color looked off in the second pic, but could be the lighting. Keep up the good work either way.

all_bark Nov 26, 2004 04:42 PM

yes those are freaking rock chips. the z's front end does not hold up to rocks on the front. i also had the front end re-painted about a year ago because the rock chips got so bad! Another couple of months i might have to do it again, (note to self - might be time to rethink that clear bra idea!)

side skirts match pretty well, pic two must be the lighting......

looking into the 19" nismo's with toyos or the CPF tuned with toyos. Problem with CPF is they do not support the TPS sensors and i like them! I guess it will be the nismo's (in silver) when the price comes down a bit...

thanks everyone.

not to get off topic but how much $$ does it cost to have your front bumper repainted... i need to do it badly

Looks great, put my old sideskirts to good use. Nice job! See you Tuesday?

Love the STOPTECH's.

Lookin' good!

You might want to consider some tint for the windows.

I went 20% and the rear hatch and 35% on the front and back side windows.

What wax product do you use?

Ditto, the only thing missing is the tint.

Looks sweet! May I suggest some 19 inch gunmetal rims? Would compliment your setup VERY nicely! *drools*

Great job, looks pretty much perfect IMO.

Really like the side skirts, How about some nice grille?

all_bark Nov 29, 2004 04:29 PM

so, after a little more inspection, my side skirts DO NOT match the car, like in the pictures!

It is no ones imagination and not the lighting. They are much darker than the car. i am surprised i missed that after the install.

Anyway, i took it down to the paint shop and they said no problem. Take em back off and bring em back in (this time with the car) and they will be perfect this time. The painter went into the body shop managaer and said, "I told you, this is why you never paint a part without the car around to color match. NEVER AGAIN, RIGHT?" The painter was bummed but knew it was not my fault.

They are a very nice paint shop that is DEFINITELY losing money on this deal! They charged me only $160.00 to paint the side skirts. now they have to do them again... I was guaranteed this time they will be perfect. :D

i'll post some new pics after it is fixed....

Beautiful Z, especially those brakes man. Good luck with the side skirts repaint. By the way, nice scooby doo on the dash :icon17:
