Lowering with 19's or not ?

i like to know something , i plan to buy 19's volk sf challanges with 245-35-19 for the front and 275-35-19 for the rear

do u guys think i need to drop it a little bit ? Because i am kind a worried about gap issues and dont want to see the car like a SUV so what people usually do ? Use stock suspension or get a eiabach pro kit or any other spring, coilover system ? thanks

if u got the $, go for the coilcovers, otherwise, the eibachs will give u good drop. i havent dorpped mine yet and it looks silly

Believe it or not, 19" wheels with the tire sizes you specified have a smaller circumference than the 18" Track Rays due the the shorter sidewall. It is perfectly safe to lower your car approx. 1 inch. You will have no rubbing issues. I have the Eibachs on my car and am going with a similar wheel. I know for sure that I'll have no problems.

Depending on the offsets of the wheels you will not have any rubbing issues... but if you have a very aggressive offset even on 17's you will rub if you lower the car...

for me, it is must that i drop my car when i get rims. if i did not want to lower my car, i wouldn't get rims...i think there is nothing more unsightly than a car with nice rims but a large gap between the wheel and the body.
get coilovers.

I have +22 offset with my LE37's on 245 front, 275 rear. Do you think it'll rub with the Eibach springs?

you will get very close and may rub a little bit... i would recomend rolling or cutting your fenders...

with the NISMO 18x9.5 +30mm with 275/40/18 (same diameter as what you have) I rubbed on eibach when taking corners very hard

I have 19s and a Greddy front lip. The front lip is definetly lower than stock. With the steep hill that leads into my building's garage I would scrape the front lip everytime if I was any lower. . . I have about .5" of clearance when I take the hill at an angle.

Consider your daily routines and hills in your area before you drop - especially with a body kit.
