Maxima runs aroudn a 15.0 if your lucky, probably more like mid 15's....I ran a 14.15 @99 with my 350z and its an auto. I have an 03 maxima, and my z smokes it, I mean not even close. From a dead stop to just 30mph I get at least 4 car lenghts, by the time I hit 100, the maxima is so far back it isn't even a race. I have heard of stock altimas hitting hight 14's, very high (14.8 - 14.9).

Sounds about right. Exactly what the kid with Altima was running in Englishtown. He talked the talk, but the car couldn't walk the walk.

I had a 03 3.5 SE Altima 5spd before I got my Z and I have to say it was pretty quick, but not like the Z.

The new 3.5 SER Altima has 265 HP and a six speed. I don't know the numbers but I think it could be possible depending on driver.

i use to be a member of that forum, actually i still am a member but i stopped goin there once i got rid of my altima. it was only a 2.5. that site use to be altimas.net

anyway all that trash talk is old, not that thread but theres a lot of threads similiar to that and they talk a lot trash about Z's

awhile back i had an argument with someone and he was sayin that altimas are way faster than stock z with only cat n intake...

When you race this idiot, make sure he leaves the "Baby on Board" and the "World's Greatest Mommy" signs on or his wife will be pissed.

Actually I have been registered there since 2002 which you must have missed. And yes I felt it was time to let this guy know that he needs to shut the [email protected] up. He was talking the same trash at the Mossy Show and I let it go but this was getting annoying.

I don't see how FWD cars are quicker in the 1/4 mile time... I guess if the driver was an expert and knew how to launch without the front end jumping all over the place, not to mention the terriable torque steer... then maybe... but even then if the Z driver was just as good, I don't see how the Altima could win... untill someone shows me some time slips or videos of a Altima beating a Z, I stand by my beleif that the Z is faster.

Also I always thought that Pushing was faster then Pulling.... Have to check my physics books

The car is HEAVIER, AUTOMATIC & dynoed at 215ish at the wheels!!!!!!

NO way in hell! That was a knucklehead driver in the Z!!!

I smoked a G35 at the track. Does that mean that a Z is waaaaaaaay faster? Hell naw, the dip $hit ran a 15.0!

Jason I think you need to stop sucking on the tailpipe of your Z. Its starting to make you crazier than normal.

An altima with a 3.5 manual should be able to run low 14's stock and an auto should run mid 14's. 350z dont dyno that much more than 3.5 maximas or altimas. My friend with a maxima and just a popcharger dynoed 215 and 215. The 350z dynoing the same day only dynoed 225 and 225. It would pretty much come down to the driver. I think the 350z would win after 80 mph because the better intake manifold design, the 350z continues to make hp at higher rpm while the maximas torque drops drastically.

To follow up on my previous post when I ran my buddies altmia @ the track I actually beat an STI. No ********. I killed him in the R/T and I assume they didn't know how to drive as well. Altima went 15.0 and the STI went like 13.9 but a had a 1.5 sec R/T advantage. When I got back in the staging lanes people kept coming up to us asking us what the mods the altima had. We were like well there's a baby seat in the back. It was great.

Bone stock Z's dyno more than 225. Probably closer to 245 or more to the wheels.
