May the Zaino be with you... |
looks good you zaino nazi :D
|
Looks good man, how long did it take you to apply it?
|
holy ****! thats amazing!
i was trying to decide between zaino and zymol....but those pics have convinced me!!! how long did it take, and what products/process did you use?? did it cover up light scratches and swirls?? |
Zaino is awesome...and yes if you use it correctly it can "remove" light scratches and swirls. *Doesn't really remove scratches and swirls, the polish simply fills them in.
I have 20 coats...the more the better! |
Let's see the Jag!
|
Wow, very nice! I have the color and thought that a simple wax job made it look amazing. I bet the paint explodes in direct sunlight.
|
Looks great!.....however, I get the same results with Liquid Glass and it's only $20 a bottle :D
Looks like my driveway made itself as part of my Z. You can even see the clouds :) http://quicksitebuilder.cnet.com/con...g.w560h420.jpg You can clearly see the house in this one. http://quicksitebuilder.cnet.com/con...g.w560h420.jpg |
P.S....my car was not waxed for a month when those pics were taken
|
Whoa!...........Very jealous. Wish the North East has half the sunny days FL have.
Nice "Sunny" pics! I can't wait till we get A sunny day here in NY so I can take some pics of my Zainoed Z. <-------::Sun Deprived:: |

And ended up claying my car 3 times pouring vinegar on the damn thing and washing it twice folowed by zaino fine scratches, gloss enhancer, show polish and then more gloss enhancer.. ( I had to stop there I couldn't stand not driving my car anymore.. ) Conquer Z looks great! Super Black is probably a lot better at showing reflections, LS just seems to reflect lighter colors but nothing looks better in the sun! http://members.cox.net/westby_/ze2.jpg |
good lord...photochop... :p

Look'in good!
I was going to try Zaino but decided that I wanted something that took less time to apply and produced similar results so I went with Klasse AIO/SG instead...I'm hooked. I'll never go back to carnauba again. In the past I had tried a bunch of Meguiar's products, Zymol, Blitz and P21S...which were great....but acrylic protection lasts sooooo much longer than traditional waxes. http://www.drivewerks.com/catalog/im...306-detail.jpg http://store1.yimg.com/I/classic-motoring_1823_5296684 Here's the result of using a Porter Cable with Einszett Paint Polish, Klasse All-In-One and Klass Sealant Glaze. Looks good but.....I just don't understand you guys that waste all that time and money on Zaino's 30 step process when a coat of Meguiers NXT will give exact results (this has been tested and proven by some friends and I). Don't you people have anything else to do? Sh*t, I'm lucky if I find time to wash my damn car.

i tried meguires nxt on my Z twice....does not produce the same results as what Westbys car looks like, and i have lemans too. look here,
http://www.a2sportcompacts.com/images/IMG_0465.JPG sure its shiney, but looks at his pics, his orange looks way better. its a personal preference, theres nothing wrong w/ taking the time to use zaino on your car westby how many coats of each did you use? |

And it still has the wax I paid the dealership to apply on it when I bought it. And it still is the cleanest Z I ever see in the Bay Area! (Non-believers whatever). I maintain it with some MOC wash n wax that the dealer gave me and it's probably enough to last me 5 years. I wouldn't want to spend hours out of a day applying multiple coats and claybar etc., etc., and I don't like to have to wash either, but I don't mind spending a few minutes every other night when I come home to polish off the car with a spray bottle mixture of the wash n wax and water and a cotton towel and keep it looking tiiiight......! Oh yeah, don't forget the California Duster either. |

I use the Meguiar's Cleaner Wax...is the NXT better? I waxed mine this weekend but will look into the nxt if you guys think it's superior. How often do you guys wax with it?
