Who here ordered a Z couldn't get into the Pre-order lot?
 

I actually put my deposit down in April, but apparently my dealer had already run out of their pre-order lot. They lied to me for awhile and led me to believe i was among the preorders, but turns out I'm actually just getting a Z ordered in september to my specs after all the preorders are on the streets. Optimistically, I'll get my Z in Dec-Jan. Oh well...cest la vie...better later than never.

Anyone else in my boat want to contribute...i'd love the company.

I would be pissed. Not only did they lie to you but there will be others who ordered after you that will get there cars in the Oct-Nov time frame. It would've been nice if they told you this up front giving you a chance to go to another dealer who could have possibly gotten you into the first allotment. You're taking it pretty well.

It's taken me a long time, but i've coped w/the pain.

I agree with dv_johnson. You should take action. It sounds like you are taking this all in stride and I applaud you for it but you were "wronged" and you should make it right. You owe it to yourself and those that may follow you to report the dealer.
I have called on the BBB and believe me the process works with little investment on your part.
