I just bought a 04 350 z and put cold air intake by ingen on it and when i rev it up i hear a slight rattle, has anyone heard of this. Also what is the best way to clean and shine the interior doors i tried armor all and it dosent look right because of the texture thanks

rattle as in bbs in a tin can? or rattle as in loose bolt rattle?? What rpm??

its like a tin can rattle at just like 2 or 3k rpm you can only hear it if you are standing outside and someone else revs it

My guess is that the intake isn't secured properly (or should I say "ideally"). Does any of the tubing actually touch the engine compartment or stabilizer bar? Are you using a rubber stopper thing (damper?) to connect the lower tube as seen in the pic?

And the obvious question, did this noise start only AFTER the CAI install?

yes the noise started after i put on the intake. I had a performace shop put on the intake because i didnt want to deal with taking off the bumper so i guess ill just go back there, have you ever heard of this problem before? what do you recomend cleaning the interior doors with
