This has got to be the screwiest thing and actually outside of the minor occasional pull to the right ,the only two things bothering me about the car . When the am radio is on , the left door speaker from time to time cracks as if it was blown . It probably is ( that's why it comes and goes ) .I tried the balance when this occurs and the right side speaker is fine . The weird thing is it doesn't do it on fm or cd mode and as I said it doesn't always do it . Anyone else have any similar speakers and or problem ?Is it any way possible that it's the radio ( receiver) and not a speaker problem ? Are there any audio engineers out there with a possible explanation. Is it anything to do with the am signal perhaps ? Thanks !

You can check on the speaker visually by removing the panel in front of it. I thought it was one piece with the rest of the door panel, but the dotted area in front of the speaker is a seperate piece.

Sunset Z thanks for the tip . I thought I had to take the whole door panel off .My best guess is that there is a bad bunch of stereo speakers out there and a few of us got them .When I have time I'm going to eventually request a new speaker . No big deal , just a minor pain .I'd like to hear from anyone else who had the problem . Thanks for the response Geezee !
