$9,000 to spend ????? but on what???
I have some cash to burn...thought about upgrading my home theater...but now I am leaning toward doing some upgrades to my Daytona Blue 04 Touring Coupe. I like the look of the NISMO parts...I can get rims & tires, cat-back, sways, suspension & cai for less than $6K.
Does anyone have an idea how much a dealer will charge for install...and how long it will take?
Also, I think I might get the NISMO body kit (lip, rear, sides, wing)...but how much would it cost be to get it painted/installed by a nissan dealer??
Will that burn through 9k, or should I have some change left over? (sound system)
thanks in advance,
Brace

Invest it, then you can make money instead of burning it.
Don't mind me, I am just fussing due to past modification expenditures.

Nismo parts are nice but there are lots of other aftermarket companies that have products that perform as well and in most cases better than the Nismo and will usually cost less.
With $9,000 to spend I would look into a turbo or supercharger setup but if you are going to stay NA for now, you could by a good amount of bolt-ons.
Headers
Highflow Cats
Exhaust
Intake
Plenum
Crank Pulley
Ecu Flash
Sway Bars
Wheels
Coilovers
That looks like it would be a good start, for me performance comes first. Although I'm not sure how much installation of all this stuff would be because so far I've done all my mods.

I just invested $6,000 with current rates I get about $6 a month(Joke), unless i invest in a year or longer cd. I figure if its going to sit there, then might as well get the most you can get. So to say save the money to invest and get a return, isnt a reason. However 9,000 sitting in the bank is a nice feeling, and its nice to have something to fall back on. I think i would do some boltons and save the rest. Thats just me, but you go slap a twin turbo on it and have yourself a fast *** car but no money in the bank.
