Thankyou for the warm welcome.
Kikilala825: a new RX-8 will set you back about 70k on road here, the 2003 ones I've seen go for about 63k so the info you got is fairly accurate.
Tim Tams rock nothing more to say there really.
I'm getting the windows tinted this week and an alarm fitted today.
Pictures wont be far off I need to buy a digital camera seeing as I have a perfect excuse now.

Crap, 63K AUD is 49K USD. That's a 15K USD premium! Is that just from import fees?
I knew cars wern't cheap in Aus, but I didn't think it was that crazy.
As expensive as cars are there, its surprising how car crazy Austrialians seem to be.
Give Paul at APS a call and let the fun begin!!!

I'm getting it done @ Extreme Machines in Willeton. Which are the companys to avoid here in Perth?
Alang: I think its just a scam by holden and ford here in Aus, ie make imports and sports cars expensive so ppl have to settle for a holden/ford hehe. I dont really know why but importing cars from say Japan is a joke I looked into getting a twin turbo Supra imported but it wasnt worth the trouble or money.
Rolling: Max speed limit on country roads is 110km/h.

who to aviod in Perth, seriously everyone but Alberts Morley
i heard Alberts Myaree are just as friendly and will do a good job on your car...
if you need anything done to your ZED take my advise and only goto Alberts Morley.. anything especially stereo stuff ..
even if they seem just a few $$ more expencive, you get what you pay for, trust me .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dont F*ck around, or you will end up with water in your ECU !!!!! and then you'll be without your zed for 3 weeks and someone will have to pay $2500 for a new one..
need i say any more ????????
Alberts Morley = Good
