I still can't believe it. The Z is totalled! (pics from accident)
Yup, never thought it would happen to me but my baby is gone. I was racing a white boosted S14 when I lost control on a hard curve. Caught some gravel and began sliding at about 90mph straight into a wall. I bounced back into the road and he clipped my rear end sending me into a spin. I'm a little shaken up but I'm okay.
**It's kind of graphic. Scroll down if you want to see it but it's not for the squirmish** Felt so freaking real!! Gotta love Forza!! ;) http://members.cox.net/randytadagreen/IMG_2639.jpg http://members.cox.net/randytadagreen/IMG_2644.jpg |
You got Xbox Live? I have Forza too. Gamertag is EteRnal PAL.

hahah lol to funny!!

how does this game compare to GT4 for PS2?
|
Dam! Those graphics are awesome!! Do they make that game for PS2. And what is GT4? (I'm guessing grand theft auto San Andreas).
|
Man. I was about to start writing the 'That's too bad, are you ok?' post until I saw the pic. I think i'm pissed now.
|

Forza Motorsport is exclusively for Xbox. Gran Turismo 4 is exclusively for the PlayStation 2. I have both Gran Turismo 4 and Forza Motorsport. There are 350Zs in both games.
I personally like Forza more than GT4. The gameplay is much easier to get into and can be made difficult to appease car enthusiasts and hardcore gamers. GT4 is a pretty tough and daunting game for casual gamers to get into. Forza also has better AI (Artificial Intelligence - how smart the computer can be) compared to GT4. In GT4, the cars you race against pretty much race in a straight line. They will occasionally try to ram you if you get too close, but the AI in GT4 has pretty much been like previous Gran Turismos. The physics in GT4 are also unrealistic. They are touting it as a "Real Driving Simulator", but bumping off cars and walls is not realistic to me. GT4 also does not have any car damage whatsoever. Bump into a wall or another car at 150mph and your car will simply bounce off with no scratches. They will penalize you by not allowing you to drive for a certain amount of seconds, depending on how hard you crash. In Forza, the AI is aware of where you are and where the other racers are at on the track. They also try to avoid getting into crashes. You'll still see the computer get into accidents though and that'll cause multi-car pileups. There is car damage as you can see by the posted pics. Not only is the car damage for looks, but it'll affect your car's performance as well - such as your car starting to veer to the right or loss of horsepower. And also depending on how bad your car is damaged by the end of the race, that'll affect your prize money. So that pretty much gives players an incentive not to crash into other vehicles. There is so much more about Forza that is better than GT4. The only thing I like better about GT4 are the graphics (only if you have an HDTV would it look better) and the selection of cars and tracks. GT4 has more than 650 cars, compared to Forza's 230 cars. The thing is, there are like 60 different versions of Skylines and other cars for example. Forza does have Ferrarris and Porsches in their game, which are absent from GT4. Forza also allows players to put custom decals on their car to pretty much make a whole bunch of crazy *** graphics. Go here to see what players have come up with, some amazing stuff to say the least - http://tabwin.com/forza.htm You can also buy body kits, upgrade your engine/exhaust, swap engines on certain cars and many other things. All of these upgrades also help make your car faster, heavier/lighter and you can also hear the difference in the engines when they are upgraded. There are Nismo, ING, Top Secret body kits that I have seen available for the Z in Forza. If you guys have any other questions about these games, feel free to ask and I'll answer them to the best of my ability. |
That first pic of the Z looked very real.

Forza kicks A$$ it is very real in car behaviour and the choices of cars and mods is incfredible, so far the best car game I have played, and we have all of them for PS2 and Xbox.

I've got that too and wouldnt really recommend it. Thats a game where you gain horsepower from the more neon/graphics you put on your car. :icon43: |

but the actual racing in need for speed still isn't too bad, I like it at least.
|
Damn... I forked over the cash for a PS2 just to have GT4... now I've got to do it all over again for Forza!!! :icon44:
