what's your average MPG? 300hp engines only
i have an 05 track. with very conservative city and highway driving i average 16.6 mpg, which seems low when i compare it to old threads i looked at on the forum.
so i was wondering what everyone else is getting with the new engine? |
Normal driving, stop go, and highway I avg around 23-24.
If I reset the MPG gauge when on the highway doing 55mph I can touch into the 30s Of course I don't have the new 300hp motor "just read your title lol" but I do have mods and 19" wheels. either way you get more HP up top and shouldnt see a change in MPG over the 287HP motors. unless of course you're full throttle 100% of the time. |
24-25 MPG, mixed street and highway.
27+ highway |
19-21 av

How many miles do you have on your car?
You will have a significant fuel economy increase after your engine is broken in, and I noticed that mine also continued to go up about another 2-3 MPG once I reached about 8k miles. |
3000 miles.
i think somethings wrong with the car, it's alot slower than the 05 performance i test drove. the car feels like it's in "limp" mode, but i have no cel light. it also allready has tranny/clutch problems. |
on my 550hp ati set up still 30-32mph freeway (over a 1000 mile trip) trtaffic mileage....fugetabutit

Mine gets 23-24 mpg on average.

before break-in 25mpg. after break-in 23mpg.

i don't have a "300hp" engine.. but eh... |
Around 23 average.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the 300hp only came in the 35th Anniv. and will be standard in the 06 models???
