Beltronics Vector FX1: 0-60 in 4.7 sec

UPS dropped this little toy off to me today, so I just went out did a few runs to see what the APS TT would do. I'm no great race driver, so I did three runs that were standing street starts at zero RPM. I don't know the ACT clutch well enough yet to start jumping off the line at high revs.

The first 0-60 was 5.6, the second 4.8, and the the third was 4.7.....and it's currently about 95 degrees outside. I don't how accurate this thing is, but it sure is fun. I'm certain a real driver who knows how launch a car properly (and isn't afraid to abuse the clutch) could knock at least a half a second (or more) off my time. Traction is the real issue with this monster, but the last run was pretty good.

It's very tempting to keep doing it......

Less than $100 shipped.

Yes, you should knock off at least another half a second.

Using my best 1/8th e/t and trap, the 0-60 calculator put me at 60 mph in 4.72 seconds.

8.809 and 81.95

I imagine you should see low 4's with you rwhp.

You didnt run that time in a stock car did you VeeTec? Or what is your definition of stock?

Everything was stock, right down to the factory Potenzas.

I now have HID, but its still stock performance wise.

Damn good times for a stock car....the best I've heard of....awesome.

Those are really impressive times considering you had to start the car and then dump the clutch. ;)

J/K....sounds like a neat toy. I might have to get one of those puppies.

Best time i recorded with a G-Tech was a 4.38. Can't wait to try some more soon. And the calculation from 1/8 mile is not accurate. It gives you a number but not accurate otherwise I'd be in the low 3second range. But that is a good time for stock, nonetheless.

It should be fairly close.

What is your 1/8 time, and trap?

Have had mine for awhile now . Can't beat it for the price . Easier to program info into than the Passport because of where the HP is being measured .It appears to be fairly accurate , probably near in accuracy to the Passport , which was more when I purchased the Beltronics , but the Passport has now come down in price close to the Beltronics .They are very similar for the original price difference .

I have all my timeslips at home but I think my best ever was
1.9xxx 60ft
8.1 1/8th
Trap 88 or 89mph.

I'll see if i can find it. If it is true then hell with it. 0-60 in 3.xxx thats wicked...

Haven't you heard? The APS kit is so good, you idle at zero RPM :icon17: .
