I'm truely impressed with Nissan
 

You know, i've been dabbling at the idea of getting a Z for the longest time. During timeframes such as this where I know its not the right time nor the correct thing to do with my money and credit, I still tend to go to nissan's website out of curiosity of any new offers and possibly if any new pictures have been uploaded.

I went into the buying section and read into the Car buyer's guide type thing. I was truely and honestly impressed!! The article and guide is very well written and very informative! They encourage you to tackle the road (yet responsibly) and try all the functions, they encourage all these things to do. Things i've never been told, yet i've developed them as a habit for my next new car purchase. And I honestly am impressed on how inviting they put things! Normally in sales, they encourage you to do certain things so they can over-exaggerate the worth of certain luxuries or options just to make the product seem better than it is, but they honestly don't try selling anything but common sense and a developed form of comfort and understanding! I'm honestly happy that they go through things like this instead of just writing up a long sales-pitch style guide to how we should only buy Nissan instead of anything else. So far, Nissan is enticing me more and more everyday!

This doesn't sound like the Nissan I've been dealing with concerning feathering. I hope your positive opinion doesn't change.

In my experience it depends on the dealer. Nissan just sells the cars to the dealers. Its up to the dealership to f*** you over or not. I drove 200 miles to find a dealer I liked to buy my Z from.

I hear ya guys. Dealers arnt always the best representation of a company. I know, I work for Nextel corporate and our non owned, indirect dealers give us a bad name all the time. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess. Or find a nice dealer lol

I'm not talking about the dealers. My dealer has been fine, if not great. I'm talking about my conversations with NISSAN North America. They suck. It is like talking to a wall. Never gave me a warm fuzzy feeling and I never felt like they were on my side with the feathering issue.

18k miles.... 3 sets of front tires.

Just bought my 2005 SB touring a few weeks ago. Was treated great by my dealer (Greenville Nissan). They have an award winning Nissan dealership rating. Now I'll see how the ride performs for me in the future. So far so good!

I'm sorry to hear that! I've seen your pain as well as many others with the same problem. Unfortunately enough, it doesn't seem like there is much they can do. Thats alot of money to dish out to alot of people..

It is too bad b/c I just love the 350z sooo much. I'll probably keep dumping money into it regardless, but Nissan will never get my business again.
