More of Bat's overlays installed

Recently took a few pics of my reverse/signal overlays. Haven't seen a whole lot of people with these overlays but I love them. I'm trying to go with a dark theme with my car, if that makes any sense. Adding dark accents here and there have so far made a big difference. Feel free what to tell me what you think.

I'm new to this overlay thing...
It's just decals that goes over your lights to make them darker?

TommyBoy76 Jul 18, 2005 11:44 AM

I like 'em.....you may inspire me to get them for my superblack along with some smoked ones for my front bumper....hmm

pj550v12 Jul 18, 2005 11:47 AM

Yeah they are decals, but high quality ones, if thats not an oxymoron . . . they go on easy and they dont look or feel like "just decals"

The good part is that I was afraid I would lose a lot of light from the overlays, but even these overlays are 6/10 tint and they barely block out any light.

Dude - you HAVE to install the overlays on your tail lights... it looks really weird seeing that contrast between bright red and dark smoke colors.

TommyBoy76 Jul 18, 2005 12:09 PM

I agree 100%

Ok you guys convinced me haha

I'd rather find an overlay for the license plate lights, those things are too bright for my taste and makes it kinda wierd to make your license plate stand out so much at night.

hehe yea i just sent a check for a buncha BAt's overlays. i got the tailight and rear bumper and headlight overlays all in 6/10 tint. i have a SB and im going for tha all black scheme.

Blue Batmobile Jul 18, 2005 04:12 PM

Email me to order: dubbleA@peoplepc.com

Great thing about my Overlays is that the light shines through just fine :).

Very nice overlays! How do you apply these overlays? Are they already cut into the exact shape of each part? If it isn't too difficult to apply them, I'll likely order all of the smoked overlays. :)

yeah i love the look of Bat's overlays. i plan on placing them on my redline once
after i save up for my body kit. can't beat the price to look ratio either.

So how difficult are these overlays to apply? And also are they easily removeable? not that i would, but incase i accidently dont align the overlay correctly and need to take it off and apply it again. thanks.

Use soap and water to get the Overlay positioned. Then sgueegy all the water and air bubbles out. Use a hairdryer for the curved areas. Can be removed if desired. See my install guide in Exterior Forum. I've updated the pics!
