Don't worry, not another UR Pulley debate, just wondered who has them
 

I am going to So Cal next week on Vacation (live in Wisconsin) Talked my wife into checking out stillen! Anyway, thought I would pick up a little something for the Z while I was there, and Am considering the Pulley. I know the controversy, Lets not get into it!!! Who has one, and how did you like it? Any so cal z boys out there, who can recommend some cool spots to hit while Im down?

I have the UR crank pulley, about 10 months and 10K miles on it. I haven't had any problems with it, and have before/after dynos showing 7hp gain. Voltage is a bit lower at idle with no visible effect, A/C works fine.

can you post up the dyno...i want to see at what rpms and gains were.

i have over 60000 on my car... 45000 of them with the pulley...

THe power is gained across the full RPM range...

here is a dyno with one of our employee's car with only the addition of the crank pulley... oh yeah, and a really bad re-flash that was fixed in the next dyno... thats why the AF is out of wack...

Wait a minute, This dyno chart shows a gain of 8.2 Hp, and a gain of torque of 19.4!! How is this possible?

Actually, it was also 8hp in my case, not 7. And only 6.6ft-lbs of torque.

I've had mine on for a few months now (2004 G35 coupe here) and so far it has been the best mod......the first thing you will notice is the responsiveness of the engine! wow! it just picks up speed so much faster than stock.........pretty easy install for the DIY as well (as long as you can get that crank bolt off)

I bought my car used with the UR pulley already installed. But I rode in a Z before/after the UR pulley and it definitely makes a difference. The acceleration had more of a snap to it with the pulleys and I also noticed the front of the car seemed to vibrate a little more during hard acceleration. The butt dyno says there are extra horses! But I think I'm running really lean right now. :(
