i seriously hope that our car doesnt play the major car role in this movie. the value of our cars may go up but think about it, everywhere we go we will have to say "yeah kid, it's that car from the movie you saw" and they will make our car look like ricers.

the first one was good, and if the Z is the main car it might help keep its value and gain popularity. The average kid didnt kno or see a supra or a RX7 before the first movie. I dont see how if a good car is in the lead of a movie and theres thosands of dollars in modifications done to it how will it be portrayed as rice? I dont see how this would hurt the Z at all, i think it will help it

June 12th 2001: Vin Diesel told Sci Fi Wire that he's co-writing the "Pitch Black" sequel with director David Twohy. "We should have a script in the next few weeks or month," Diesel said in an interview. "It will be called The Chronicles of Riddick." He confirmed that the sequel would not deal with the same aliens as the original film. "It will not be another Pitch Black situation," Diesel said. "We're going to follow Riddick through this universe, more like a futuristic Conan, coupled with a Harrison-Ford attitude and Star Wars. It's going to be dope."

If the movie is like FF1, then i'd be semi ok with it. Publicity is good. But..if it's as bad as FF2, and as cheesy (and it sounds like it can be...b/c if they milk the drifting scene and try to make it as "niche" as they did with t he drag scene..then god almighty!), then we are indeed doomed and I'd expect resale value to plummet.

I am disgusted.

No matter what anyone says, everyone thought the first movie rocked, and you went out and got under-body lights for your civic. Then after EVERYONE started doing it, most of those people stopped and graduated to real cars, and understood what rice was and swore to never do it again. Lol, fortunately I just got a permit from H.S. when the movie came out so I wanst driving yet, and I learned from my friends ricing out their Integras that it wasnt the cool thing to do.

this is a response to the movie makes the cars rice.... i dont think ppl think of the muscle cars in the previous movies as rice, nor will they consider the Z rice, mainly becasue of the price and the capabilities of the car. rice cars will always be rice(civics talons,crx...etc) and true sports cars will always get thier respect.

I didn't care to watch any other F&F's after the 1st one. BTW, I did enjoy the 1st movie.
