Nissan Didn't Give You Guys A Preview Breakfast?
 

WHEN THE AUTO SHOW WAS IN HOUSTON- APRIL 2002- NISSAN HAD A BREAKFAST FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAD PRE-ORDERED THE NISSAN 350Z. WE GOT TO SIT IN IT, AND THEY TOLD US ABOUT THE CAR ETC. READING THE BOARD, IT SEEMS AS IF THIS WASN'T DONE ALL OVER?

THAT IS A SURPRISE TO ME.

HoustonZ.. I live in Atlanta.. but all the dealers i spoke to wanted 2K+ over invoice.. may parents live in Shreveport, La (northeast La.) I ordered my Z (Daytona Enthu) there for MSPR and i was the first from that dealer on Feb.20th. I got the same invitation to the Houston car show to preveiw the new Z.. I called the telephone number to see if they were doing it in atlanta.. BUT no THAT was the only place they schedule the 'preview show'.. that is what i was told on the telephone.. I looked for any cheap plane fares.. but no way.. all about $400 RT ..So i could not make it.. Was it the Fairlady from Japan or our production model?:cool:

You also have to remember that not all auto shows were as late as April. Chicago had theirs int February. Pre-order had just begun, no way to contact people to invite them that early. I think Houston was the only auto show where pre-orders were invited to see the Z up close and personal.

I ordered mine after I saw it at the auto show, so they owe me a breakfast.
