My Baby's going to the shop
 

Well, two days prior to New Years, some idiot decided to cut me off and ran me off the road. I was about 1 minute away from work and this is 5:30 in the morning. There was plenty of road but the dumbass has to cut me off. My baby ended up going over a median on the front driver side. The front of the Z is shifted to the left =*(. The hood is lifted and moved slightly over to the left. The gap by the front fender and the driver side door is close together while the opposite side on the passanger door is gaped open. I'm looking at 'bout $2-$3k worth of damage. Insurance is gonna take care of it, but if the guy at the shop gives me a lower price than what my insurance is gonna give me, I think it's gonna be out of pocket. Keep my rates low ya know? But I'm not gonna be able to drive my baby for 'bout 3 weeks =*(. I would post pics but photobucket gave me BS while I was signing up so I gave up.

damn that jus sucks. Some of these things r so unavoidable and u cant help it if some mofo is going to do something stupid...

Atleast nothing bad happened to u and u can eventually get the car fixed. Buy another aftermarket bumper or aftermarket hood. :) You can befit from this somewhat.

Haha, yea, a car is replaceable. It just annoys me that this is a stupid thing that could've been prevented if the jerk would've looked before changing lanes....without a turn signal I might add. But I'm just gonna let the guy fix my baby up, he's awesome 'n does a hell of a good job. He really treats his client's cars as if it were his own. I highly recommend him to anybody down here in South FLorida. He specializes in a few makes and models, one which includes the Z. I think his stuff was also in FnF as well...his business cards or something. I forgot. But I think the only mod for now after this set back would be rims. I'm gonna keep my baby a sleep >=).
