haha actually this is my only big payment right now. So I guess I am comfortably in debt, if there is such a thing.

not quite.....it's the "it's smart to invest your money in things that EARN you money" debate......cars do not. |
Bought mine with 50% down & 50% loan. Just paid it off.
17k left on my 03' track... :)
paid off Oct 05!
Don't wanna talk about it...lol
I paid mine off the lot
just went below the 12k mark on my 03 Touring Hooray!
18k for me
$21,374 left for me in the next 4 years. Being in debt is def. not a good thing, it sucks real bad. But in my situation it allowed me to easily own a Z when I only had a fraction of the funds required to buy it in full. So my loan will cost me something like $1600 in the long run over 5 years..... not bad
Put 20k down and took out a 5 year loan, then I paid quadruple the payments and it was mine in 14 months :)
It's a nice feeling to have the pink slip :) |

Man, anyone else out there, if you've got $35k in cash, please go see a financial advisor before you make the mistake of paying cash for a car.....you'll thank yourself later. Every time I see one of these threads I can't help but thinking "yay, I just paid $35k for something that's worth $22k".
