No Z's in El Salvador

So I have been in El Salvador, staying in downtown San Salvador for over a week now, and I have yet to see a 350z. Spotted one 300zx.

When employees of the company I work for ask me what I drive, I tell them, and they usually get this confused look on their faces... These people don't know what they are missing :)

I think the Z is one of the least important things they are missing in El Salvador. Reading this makes me glad I was born in the usa and not some f'ed up part of the world like... i dont know... everywhere else.

I will be travelling to El Salvador on Wednesday for business :D

When i was going down the highway along the coast, man, i wished I had the Z, can you say mountain twisties on newly paved roads?

Its not as bad as you think down here. The place has a stigma because it went through a bloody civil war about 10-15 years ago, but since then its been growing and rebounding. All over the place there are signs of growth and prosperity, nice malls, fancy resturants.

Its got a ways to go, but they are on the right track

Ironically, this place has some of the nicest roads I have seen. The government invested a ton of money in its infrastructure, and the highways are pretty nice.

Though I didn't see any 350's, I did see an STI race a Ford Lightning last night while I was out at a fancy Thai resturant. I got a kick out of that

(the subie blew the doors off the ford)

Per capita income is about is about $2,350/year. Who can afford a car much less a 350Z?
