== My Z's trip up to the N. GA mountains yesterday (video’s inside) ==
 

Yesterday was such a nice day here in Atlanta that I thought it would be fun to go take a drive up to the mountains. So I got my girl, grabbed my camcorder and took off for a day of driving. Its really been the first time that I have been able to go out and just enjoy the road outside of the city since I bought my car back in November and it was a great time.

So I went up to the mountains through hwy 9 and drove into Helen, GA. It’s a good road that I used to take back when I rode sport bikes so it was something else to take the car up there and see how it handles.

My Escort X50 came in handy a couple times but there weren’t to many cops. On the way back I caught up with a WRX and while that car was quick, the Z stayed right with it!

Anyway, I got some video for all of you to check out. The uphill video is probably the best and I backed it with a new production of mine that’s coming out in April/May after the remix competition concludes. There is a great part in the beginning where I had the traction control off and scared the hell out of Allison. You can here her yelling in the background. It was great!!

So here you go. It might look a bit noisy because I tried to keep the file size down so just work with the size of your windows player and it will work out just fine. Hope you like it!!

I live off of exit 11 so I'm pretty close.

I was up in those parts two weeks ago. Greenville, SC to Northeast, AL. Pretty fun going through Look out Mountain and those areas on that drive. First road trip with the z was a blast.

No problem! I had a blast on Sunday. Diesel350, lets get in touch sometime soon and we will go hit the moutains. Its much more fun with more than one car.

xNeo, my exhaust is the JIC DE-Type 1 single catback. Its pretty loud but has a great sound with combined with all the other bolt ons.

I have an 18 second video with the WRX. If I have time this evening I will go ahead and post it.

1.Why were you weaving in and out of lanes when going uphill? By any chance is the handling bad for the 350?

2. What kind of bodykit is that? Props.

I got to be honest. When the video just stated playing (going uphill), and everyone was laughing, and the bad music was playing in the background, I thought it was going to turn into a bad porn video. :icon17:

Very nice. Y'all are lucky up in Georgia to have mountains so readily available. Its a 6-7 hour endevour for us Floridians.
