the other day i was on newbury st. in boston which is casually home to ferrari's top notch benz and rolls and all sorts like it.
while im driving some kids probably young adult range were taking pics and video of my video as i was driving in traffic next to them and around them. that seemed pretty cool to me.

I had just washed my 03 CS when I look up and see an Amish guy and his wife coming down the sidewalk (the hardcore amish, all dressed up, no shoes, not supposed to acknowledge any technology of any kind). I get back to work washing my wheels for a moment only to look up and the Amish folks are stopped staring at my car. The guy smiles, looks at me and says "...I like it." I had no idea what to say, so I just said "me too." And he went on his way.
I was pumping gas one time, and this father and maybe 6 year old son are walking out of the store, the kid looking at his feet as walked (you know how kids do) and not looking where he was going. He almost bumps right into my fender and gets startled, looks up and just stares all wide-eyed, jaw dropped. The dad says to me "sorry, he's big into cars." I said "no problem, I had the exact same expression when I first saw it too."

I had a guy at a red light yell out nice car. (not out of the ordinary) but then he followed me into the gas station about a mile down the road and said he just had to get a better look. I gave him the tour and even popped the hood for him. Nice guy.

ha oh man the good times I had with the Z, haha one of the highlights for me would probably me when I was vacuuming my car at the gas station and this guy passing by stuck his head out the windom in amazement just checking out my z (probably because my doors were up lol), then another car came out of NOWHERE and he didn't see the car and slightly bumped his front bumper. I felt so bad but at the same time felt great haha
oh man, lambo doors might be rice to some, but there are COUNTLESS stories of the kind of attention I've encountered with them, and let me tell you, it was 90% positive attention

A few days after i picked up my Z a older guy and his wife roll up next to me at a light in their Volvo. The guy rolls down his window, looks the car over, and then says "that is one beautiful automobile." Just the other day I was driving down a local road and pass by a few kids. In passing all I hear is one of them yell "Yo, yo it's a 350z" while jumping up and down. Brought a smile to my face.

But GT-R's seem to compare and destroy Porche for 1/2 the price. I'm bias, give me a choice of similarly priced Porche, like the Boxster S that our VP has, and I'll take my Z any day. Plus, destroy him on the track with it as well.
