Found the 04 sunset roadster on the internet. Went up to see it and took it for a test drive. Went up the ramp, pushed it down and started to laugh. Bought it on Monday. Have driven z-28 and corvettes in the past but this thing is sooooo sweet. What a car.

I've wanted a Z for 30 years and when Nissan discontinued the 300zx, I was very disappointed, knowing that I'd never have a new Z.
Then Nissan introduced the 350Z just after I had (barely) bought a SpecV. Then after Nissan released the Sunburst Yellow SpecV, I mentioned to a few people that if Nissan ever released a yellow Z, I'd be getting one, even though I could hardly afford the SpecV.
When they introduced the Ultra Yellow and the 300 HP track model, I knew what car I would be ordering. I ordered mine at the end of November, and I'm glad that I did!

I originally planned to get an Auto RX-8, just because
I didn't know how to drive stick and even if I did, the LA traffic will drive me insane.
It all changed when a buddy of mine introduced me to
this British motoring show called Top Gear.
After watching JC and the Stig driving all these fast manual cars,
it looked like they were having so much fun revving, downshifting,
and just plain taking off from a stop like their pants are on fire.
Eventually my attention shifted from manual RX-8 to manual Z.
Looking back now, I don't know why I even thought about that disgrace to RX line.
My friend always tells me that he regrets showing me Top Gear because...
I'M A TOP GEAR ***** NOW!!!
Season 8 begins in less than 10 days woohoo

bought it because there's nothing else to buy in 2005:
-have Evo VIII since 2003....got bored.
-then bought a 2003 Mercedes C320, 'cause want something with performance and luxury.
-then thinking the C320 is a bit too luxurious....so I bought an RX-8 GT 6-speed because I wanna try rotary engine.
-then discover that Mazda service department sucks so bad,......
-try the Sti....too noisy.
-so....try the 350z, LIKE IT
-bought i right after test drive, also because the sellpersons are nice.

Well my brother had a '90 300zx TT, fell in love with it. That and my dad has a '00 Maxima. I liked turbo's but didn't like the lack of torque in 4-cylinder cars. That and the Evo & STi looked eh for the $30k price. Originally wanted the G35c but was too expensive. Never thought about the Z but when i did loook at it closely... i was in love.

I've always had an interest in the Z ever since my dad owned one.
His first Z was a 1980 280ZX and then later a 1982 280ZX. Unfortunately, I was still a kid so I never got to drive them, but then he got a 1991 300 TT. WAAAAHAHAH!!!!! That was such a nice car. Fortunately, I was now old enough to drive so I tried to drive it was much as I could. I loved it until he traded it for a Merecedes.
I wanted to keep that car, but had no $$$$ to afford it since I was a poor college student. And when I heard that it was discontinued after 1996, I was sad, but somehow I thought in the back of head that it will be back.
Once I heard the Z was returning, I had to get one now that I could afford it.
I've had mine since Jan 2003 and still enjoy driving it
