I'm an addict

Yes that's right. I'm hooked on my350z.com. I admit it. I'm here all the time, lurking and reading the same posts over and over, eagerly awaiting any new information. This sight is the 1st and last thing I have seen every day for about 3 months. While at work I mysteriously find myself looking at my350z.com a dozen times or more, with no recolection of how I got there or why. I think I'm going crazy. Damn you Nissan, Damn you all to hell - for making the 350z the object of my desires!

That is why there is such passion for this car.The Z IS NOT just any sports car.People can complain all they want but for the money Nissan has created a niche all of their own. What does that tell you about the Z?

Hello, my name is Jessie and I am a my350z.com Zaholic. Be it work or at home I choose to spend many hours looking at this board and even searching older articles in hopes of fabricating the perfect 350Z conspiracy theory. I put a downpayment on my Z more then 1.5 years ago after I traveled to Vancouver to see the 2nd concept.

I flew to Japan to see the unveiling of the final product at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. I don't speak a hint of Japanese but that didn't matter to me.

I put together my first model in 15 years after I picked up a 350Z kit. I have a collection of all 350Z related material ready to be mounted in a frame set for proud display. I have a stack of Japanese magazines that I cannot read but since they have the 350Z in them I had to have them...

I, my friends, have an addiction. I'm proud to be a part of this community of never recovering Z-a-holics.

I also end up here several times a day. I have been hooked on other sites in the past. One thing I have learned is not to let it affect health, work, or your family. As silly as it sounds, internet addiction is very real. Try to go two days without using the internet, if you can't do it maybe you should get help??

On the other side, you seem to be obsessed with the car and not necessarily the site. This is good because I'm guessing when you get your car you will get out and drive and use it for social stuff.

Jay could make a killing if he started charging for the site now because I bet you aren't alone:D

Denial is the first sign of addiction.

It's nice to see I'm not the only one. I guess this board can double as a support group! :D

Hi everyone.

My name's Cheap, and I'm a my350z.comaholic.

I've had the last two nights off and all I've done is sit here and catch up on the posts I've missed during my biz trip the last week. I almost failed a school, lost my girlfriend, and haven't even bothered trying to get her back (well my friends tell me I'm better off). I lurk and lurk and lurk, posting occasionally when I feel my insight or guidance is needed (unlike some POSTWHORES.. ahem ;) ). I even chased some dude for 60 miles down I-80 in heavy traffic because his car looked similar to a 350z convertible from 200 yards away.

Oh yeah, and I'm only 21, have my Z on order, and probably can't really afford the car, let alone the mods I've already started planning...

Help? Please?

Danimsta Jul 8, 2002 12:53 PM

hi im nima, im 18, and this is basicall the only website i go too, except hotmail to check my mail to see if anyone responded to my posts, my girlfriend makes fun of me for being here all the time and talking about the 350z and knowing so much about it even though im not getting one, but oh well, shes not important :) j/k

We will be holding the Z--aholic meetings three nights a week at my350z.com.

However, that would probably be a bad idea as it would only help feed the addiction.

Please Nissan make it stop. Build the cars and deliver quickly. For the love of god, we are begging you. This is the only way because we will then be too busy driving our Zs to surf for hours on end each day.

Help!!!!!

SnoopyZ Jul 8, 2002 01:05 PM

Zay Jul 8, 2002 06:39 PM

Hi my name is Jose and I to am a 350Z.com-aholic. I find myself here every day lurking in the wings of the site. I can't get enough of it. Lately, i've even started doing it at work! I can't control myself. My wife laughs at me and calls me pitiful. I love this site.

BTW, Is there any other site on the Internet these days?!

AudioPat Jul 8, 2002 06:42 PM

What Internet?:D

The Internet, I've heard of that, what 'xactly is that again? BTW, I am not an addict, I am a successful lawyer who only occasionally checks in here. Of course, I have lost all my clients, I've been sued for malpractice -- don't know why, it seems perfectly reasonable for me to log on here, instead of going to court for a scheduled trial, my ---uh...what's her name .... oh yeah, my wife, that's it..she left me . . . I used to have a dog, haven't seen him much lately ... although he was kinda skinny last time I saw him . . . and I now have a 'fro after the 'puter dropped into the bathtub while I was logged in here. BUT NO...I AM NOT ADDICTED!!!!!

Z Dreamer Jul 8, 2002 07:15 PM

I'm just a lowly 3.5 Altima owner, but I'm very proud of my 240HP sedan, which does the 0-60 in 5.9. The Z is just a dream, hence the name. It's fun keeping up with the latest on the next Z and since we share the same engine, I'm always searching for possible mods! FYI, just upgraded to the Stillen Hi-Flow Intake, and according to Stillen it adds another 10HP to the Flywheel, so now I'm up to 250HP!!! Does that mean 297HP for the 350Z with the same upgrade? Who knows, only time will tell!

BILZ Z Jul 8, 2002 07:19 PM

Hi Everyone ...My name is Bill and I'm a 350Z addict..... Anyone here have a drink??:p

nizl Jul 8, 2002 07:23 PM

I've started having dreams about the Z. The latest one involved a Super Black Track model that I was zooming around Laguna Seca.

I need help.
