question about Progressive's site

for those who have their insurance:

1) was their website prices accurate when you were shopping around, then finally chose to go with progressive

2) on their site, they list prices by "basic, economy, reccomended, plus, and custom" .. which one is considered as FULL COVERAGE/INSURANCE ?

for the 2006 350z.. basic is $82, economy $228, recommended $236, plus $269 (per month)

site confuses me a bit, someone lead me the right way, thanks

Those are just coverage packages they recommend to you based on your answers up to that point. So my advice would be to take a look at what your current auto policy has for the liability and match that up, then all you will need to do is choose a Deductible for Comprehensive and Collision. Those are the coverages you will need for any financed vehicle!! Then if you have any questions just hit the talk to me button or call in they are extremely friendly and will answer if questions you have!!

Nah, like me.... multiple cars, old dudes, good driving record, no accidents and I pay less than $45 a month. That includes $250 DED, $50 Comp, 100/300/100
plus towing.

When I was in my teens, even 20's, I couldn't touch a Z. The insurance was more than the car payment. It was as much as my rent would have been back then. So, if you relate that to todays dollars. That would be like paying $500 a month in insurance. I think if you are a young man and have the wherewithall, you should go for it.

I personally just didn't see spending the dough at that point in my life for something I didn't expect to see a return on. On the other side of the fence,
I missed out on about 15 years of driving fun that I would have had driving a Z. Not a big deal in the long run .... many fast cars and I am working on my 15th year of owning Z's now. So, for at least half of my driving career I have driven a Zcar.

Good luck .... I think at your age anything under $300 a month is a deal.

Go for it! Enjoy the ride!
