q's about the kinetix ssv
im interested in the ssv. its looks awesome under the hood but im not fi. i plan on going fi in about 8-9 months but i want more power now. im doing some mods that i will be able to keep even with fi. so to the questions, does the ssv work well without fi or will i lose power? will i gain any, and if i do what might i be lookin at? and is there somewhere besides directly from kinetix. lookin for somewhere a lil cheaper, i know we used to have a gb for 725$. any help will be much appreciated

the prices aren't that flexible. u can probably buy used, that thing is sturdy as hell.

it doesn't do that much N/A...only F/I

Most of the SSV's I've seen are on FI cars.

i know it doesnt do much, but i dont care if it only gets me 2 hp, i just dont want to lose power. but im going fi eventually

do you think if i did underdrive pulleys with it i might be able to even out the low end losses and keep the high end?

i didsnt loose power anywhere

All you need with the SSV are the iso thermal gaskets that come under it, this was greatly reduce the amount of heat going into the engine, thus, it will increase power, to about 10-15 WHP for N/A, and around 20 to 30 WHP for FI
