The VEILSIDE Vertible...
$3000 MSRP not including freight from where ever it was purchased from...
Paint / install... probably looking at $2500 at MOST
Wheels and tires... $5500 If paid list...
Intake / Exhaust = $1600 if paid list...
$12600.00
The usual (things cost double) when selling a car equipped with aftermarket parts... heh
and oh yeah... $1500 for the vert doors installed around...
But no one usually pays list...

Did you guy notice the painted CF hood with mesh on the vents removed, need to add that to the list and it looks lower then stock, maybe some aftermarket springs or coil-overs? Bad choice of rims, I would have gone on something with a fatter lip but with that and the wider body it would just be a show car and not a daily driver. Its def. not the worst I have seen, if the fenders would have been molded in and the screw holes covered plus adding some lights or covering up the holes on the front bumper it would not look that bad. I believe he spent what is stated especially if he boasts about having the receipts but he prob. doesn't know any better and had a shop do all the work.

I hope he didn't actually pay $35K for that car. OMG! ROTFLMAO!
Dealer wanted $1300 for pinstripes and $5K for a Nismo intake, exhaust and wing... and what's up with the $600 "delivery fee"? After buying the car, you have to pay the dealer $600 to give it to you? Some dealers will try anything. I'm surprised none of them have tried to charge $295 for "new car smell". LOL!

A neighbor of mine got fooled into buying this old 94/95 Civic with a "Mugen" block. He is one of the unfortunate ones whose mind is clouded with "rice-ful" thoughts. Of course, I told him he was ripped off on the car purchase.
He's the same one who wanted me to install a "Spoon" chip and gave me bogus instructions from his friend. Gawd that was a waste of time. I told him "You know this isn't going to make your car any faster, right?" He told me he got the chip from a Honda store. When asked for the site he spelled "www.ebay.com" So much for "research."
He even got some 300ZX foglights that he was going to mount on his bumper. He paid me $70 to modify it with a Luxeon III Star + regulator circuit. The look on the car is questionable, but at least I sold my lights. The lights were extremely bright. Installation was never completed because one his friends placed one of the fogs on the hood while working on the car. The wind blew the fog light, knocked it off the hood, and broke it in pieces. The Luxeon was dead and he asked me to fix it. Gawd, he even tried to bondo the pieces together! I pretty much put an end to wasting my time with this situation.
[sigh] Some people I tell ya...
