Ya know what I've really come to hate about this forum...

...When you are looking at something in the marketplace for sale, and there are like 3 pages of people asking for info and PMing and bla bla blaing, and u really really want it, and even though u KNOW ur really late to be noticing it and u should just jump to the last page and look for that "sold" post, you still read all 4 pages of people asking questions and getting ur hopes up seeing the "its still available" post all along the way and then sure enough u get to the end and it is SOLD! Then to make it even worse, you just go right to the next thread and do it all over again.... errrr.... my favorite example is a popcharger.. those bstrds dont last more than an hour! that marketplace makes for such a love/hate relationship....

Wow that first sentence was a really long one...

And no one say repost, cause u cant repost a thought or a rant - they are personal feelings darn it!

sorry for wasting bandwidth.. ill stop now.

DaveZ06 Dec 12, 2006 06:47 PM

popchargers are only like $120... don't be cheap! But for the marketplace... yea it gets kinda annoying but if you hussle and jump the gun, you will get what you want!

:icon20:

:icon11: don't trip out and make threads like this or you might turn :icon14:

I guess, thats life:dunno:

Maybe we could have the threads locked after the item has been sold...

yea i know, thats what happens when u have 68k + members, haha... I was just ranting to rant, i wasnt really looking for any forum reformation or anything... its just the kid in the candyshop syndrome for me everytime i go to the marketplace, haha....

If people would just learn to lock their thread once the item is sold it would be real easy to tell which ones not to bother looking at.

zand02max Dec 13, 2006 04:02 AM

I doubt the sellers care about locking a thread, they got their $!

What I don't understand is, people that want to save $20 over a brand new pop charger and they get a used one thats half the time looks like ****! Blows my mind. Got mine for $110 new shipped!

Nukiz0r Dec 13, 2006 04:14 AM

Where Zand? HABU!!! Let me know.

I hate in the Vendor classifieds that they don't post prices. You have to PM for price. I mean, just tell us on the forum how much the damn wheels are! Are they PMing different prices to different people??

Azn_Empurio Dec 13, 2006 04:46 AM

ive seen worster forums regarding selling items
this one is actually pretty good

agreed tims 5 million...

BavariaMotorist Dec 13, 2006 07:22 AM

What is a pop charger exactly???

DavesZ#3 Dec 13, 2006 08:31 AM

Vendors don't post prices because most are restricted by their distributor to NOT advertise below a certain price. They get around that by giving you a private price quote.

Plus, if they post a price today and it changes next week, they have to go back and change all the threads where they quoted the old price.

+1 Its called MAP pricing and if they advertise for less than a certain price then the manufacturer may not allow them to sell their product anymore. Thats why it has to be done in private.

i make 120 every 2 hours :)

Reality350 Dec 13, 2006 09:03 AM

i hate how ppl post up somethig for sale with no pics and say "email me for pics"

just post the damn pics so EVERYONE can see the actual product... its more work to read a TON of emails and then to reply to all of them with a attatched pic...
