Can't make up my mind - Nismo kit or rims?
Well, I just got my Z a week ago and I can't wait to start modding. I have tons of experience so there is no problem with installing a kit, etc. That's the easy part, but the hard part is deciding whether I should get a Nismo kit + spoiler first or go for the rims first. I was thinking if I get the Nismo kit I would paint the stock 17s gunmetal or bronze (plus its got new tires) until August when I got enough money for rims. It's so tough...what do you guys think. She is a beautiful '03 Daytona Blue 350Z .

The nismo kit isn't that much of a change.. I'll think you'll see more of a tansformation with rims. Just my .02. Rims, then the kit. :D
BTW, go 19 or 20. |
I just bought a set of 19" NISMO LM GT4s for when spring/summer rolls around... +1 on the rims.
|
rims and a drop, trust me
|
Are u thinking nismo v1 or v2?
|
Rims before kit always.
|
rims first for sure.
rims alone can enhance the appearance of a car. but a car with a body kit rollin on stock rims? it makes the viewers feel like they have to need a gag; looks incomplete. |
Are you kidding me? Body kit? Hell no.
Rims and Suspension first. Body kit would probably be last in most mod lists. |
+ on the rims
|
Don't be a ricer and get a body kit before rims.

This is my last ride. Know who you are talking to before spitting insults. For everyone else thanks a lot for the comments I'll look into it. =) http://home.comcast.net/~huyphongn/LykeWoaDC4_4.jpg |
If I were you I would...
Never mind. I am not you. Please delete. |

I apologize. |
This is a debate?
Get what you feel is best. If you can't decide, wait until you can.
I love my '06 stock rims and will most likely do my kit before even considering rims, if I change them at all. *Flame on* :icon20: |

I just noticed you got an 03.. maybe an upgrade to 06/07 rims (can be found with tires for ~$1000) will allow an updated look and the new kit. :D
I'll be selling my 06 rims soon, but there are others already for sale right now too. |
Rims first. 17's with a body kit wouldn't look good, they would look too tucked in. Hell, stock 18's wouldn't be flush without spacers.
|
Rims Rims Rims! :)
|
Go with 19's.
