You can mod a little or a lot! Myself, I've added tint and the popcharger for now and down the road I may do more like exhaust, spacer but I don't have the bug!

im stock except for rims, turbo kit, exhaust, engine management, and suspension. Oh wait, maybe im not stock anymore lol. damn that mod bug bites hard and fast. IF you wana keep it mostly stock i suggest just lowering it slighty. It will give you a much mor agressive look even with stock rims. Oh and dont forget wheel spacers! have fun w your z.

It's an ongoing forum joke.

I'm a stocker(not stalker). I've thought of making some changes, but then I keep reading quotes like above. This way, when I wake up in the morning, I know what she is going to look like. I don't race anybody but myself, so the power and suspension is just fine.

I agree, once you start you can't stop. The mod-bug has no mercy.

I think it's a matter of self-control and caring about what you want your car to be, not what people on an internet forum want your car to be. Don't feel pressured to buy the freshest set of Volks so that you can have your 10 minutes of glory reading the posts of all the other people drooling over your updated car pictures; instead, by the Volks because you will enjoy looking at them every single day as you walk up to and away from your car.

It's very easy to get caught up in what everyone else thinks and put your own opinions on the back burner. Like many have said, if you are happy with the car in its stock form then there is definitely nothing wrong with that.

I put my car back to stock after about 12k in mods and have never been happier with the car. All I kept was the rims and stereo. Rest of the car is stock and I can still get sideways when I need to.

I modified the POS radio and speakers, if that counts for anything. Except for that, it is bone stock.

I think it's a wonderful car in stock form. That's not to say some things cannot be improved on. If you dont have the money, then just enjoy what Nissan made. Not everyone can afford to go all out. Hell I barely have anything done to my Z, and I absolutely love it.
